parking costs $30 a day

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The front desk and bell staff were excellent. The bellman Max was particularly kind to me.
Cons: Get rid of the parking fee.
Location: There is a strip club next door.
getting a god room rate is killed by the parking fee. $10 or $0 is more appropriate.

Pros: Location. Room styles and very nice atmosphere.
Cons: Put a patio on rooftop. All buildings tall in city. Would be great view
Location: Walking distance to Gastown, waterfront, Robson St and close to all kinds of public transportation
Vancouver is a Fun city to explore. The choices for food are good. Stanley Park or Capilano Suspension Bridge park nice places to see.

You won't be disappointed!

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Location and amenities.
Location: Located in the heart of Vancouver - easy walking distance to many restaurants and sights. Subway and light rail located nearby
The hotel is tastefully decorated and plush. The room was well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Conveniently located near the Port of Vancouver and downtown Vancouver!

Night before the cruise

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The separate bedroom from the sitting room.
Location: Close to the port.
We stayed in Vancouver the night before we left on an Alaska cruise. The hotel is a short walking distance to the port. The room was clean and had plenty of room. I don't think I had ever stayed in a hotel were the bedroom was separated from the sitting area. Big beautiful windows in the bedroom (with our rooms we didn't have the best view). The staff was friendly and helpful.

Vancouver visit before Alaskan Cruise

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: The menu options for room service.
Location: Cruise terminal, Vancouver visitors center, art galleries, the hop on hop off buses, the large mall, The Vancouver lookout, Fly Over Canada 4D & more!
This hotel was convenient in the downtown area, the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. The rooms are not huge but the suite layout was wonderful for my husband, daughter and me. There were TVs in both rooms which was great to give us all some 'down time' after a full day of flying from the east coast. The restaurant that connects with the hotel and offers room service is Indian food but it's conveniently located to several restaurants and the staff was most helpful with getting us menus to choose from and giving recommendations! It's a great location to walk to the downtown sites, use the hop on hop off bus in the city and also to the cruise terminal. We would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Good location but room is very small.

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Room is very small even though it's a one bedroom suite. It's no bigger than a regular room. In the bedroom there was hardly any room to walk around the bed. Same as the front room, when the sofa bed was open there was NO room. Bathroom extremely small as well.

Smaller ritzy hotel

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: We arrived well before our check in time ( disembarking from cruise ship). The hotel allowed us to check our luggage in early.
Cons: We only stayed overnight, I can't think of anything that needs improving on.
Location: This location was great. Local shops, eateries, parks, waterfront, air/ sightseeing excursions within walking distance.
I'm not a big hotel person, but this has to the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were big enough that you didn't feel cramped, the staff were very helpful, even on a last minute request to the concierge ( which he was able to pull off tickets to a local show). The hotel is located right in the middle of everything. Local shops, eateries, museums, Bay Area, Stanley park all within walking distance.
