great locationPosted May 3, 2015
hotel recently remodeled, so facility is like new. Alexandria St, the street the hotel faces, is famous for its Asian eateries. Walking distance to Skytrain makes it easy to go to downtown Vancouver. this hotel also has complimentary shuttle service to airport. Room is big and bed are comfy.

Great quality for the price.Posted Mar 31, 2015
Location: Mall is just behind the hotel and several restaurants just in front
Just spent one night at the hotel but it was everything I wanted. It had the look of a boutique hotel with good food in the lobby restaurant/dining room....cheesecake was to die for. The bed was the usual Sheraton comfort and the bathroom was elegant. When I needed a cab, they had it there for me within minutes. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Excellent servicePosted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, good security, and free shuttle service to and from the airport
Location: Great proximity to the airport, one block from the skytrain, and two large shopping malls within 15 minutes walking distance
We arrived very late in the evening and the front desk staff was courteous and quickly provided us with a clean, updated room, with very comfortable beds. In the morning, we had breakfast in the hotel. The food was a little on the expensive side but it was really good. Our waiter, Guy, was friendly and went out of his way to provide us with information about the skytrain and surrounding area, and even offered to get us umbrellas while we were walking around during the day because he heard the forecast was for rain later in the day. Our flight did not leave until later that evening, and it was no problem for the hotel to keep our bags and arrange a shuttle to the airport free of charge. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again as the price was good for the quality.

Nice hotel. Short walk to sky train. Affordable.Posted Feb 12, 2015
Nice Hotel. A bathtub would have been nice, rather than just the shower. Breakfast buffet was overpriced.

Room security needs to be improvedPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: It is clean, our room was really quiet and the staff were accommodating.
Cons: Since one of us has mobility issues it would be nice if there were rooms that catered to guests who need grab bars to use the tub/shower.
Location: There are some good restaurants close by as well as one of Richmond's major shopping malls.
We enjoyed our stay but felt concerned about room security. We found the door between our room and the room next door unlocked - that was easy to fix as we locked it immediately. However, the bolt on the entrance door couldn't be engaged totally. I mentioned it to the front desk upon leaving and they assured me that it would be attended to.

Good location close to the airportPosted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: The shuttle was excellent, saved us some cash after a NYC vacation every penny counts :)
Cons: Definitely the restaurant and evening lobby staff.
Location: airport, pretty much it.
Clean rooms, typical of all Starwood hotels. Nice lobby. The restaurant is really just a corner in the lobby. I've taken to ordering steak at restaurants I don't know since it's hard to mess up. It was cooked as I asked and tender (prime rib) but it came stone cold. My son's fish was over cooked, dry and smoking hot. I guess they had to cook it after the steak? The gravy for my dinner was also cold, everything was cold. In the morning there's a bare bones buffet, expensive for what you get $16 per person. I wouldn't stay again.

noisy hotel stayPosted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: It's mediocre.
Cons: Provide early breakfast considering the number of guests, like us, who want to get to the airport early. Even a cup of decent coffee would be nice.
Location: Mall across the street.
This was our second time at this hotel...both times just to catch an early morning plane. First time was not too bad although no breakfast or coffee was available at 6:15am despite the quoted 6am opening time of the restaurant. This time same thing but also the planes from the nearby airport kept going all night and kept my wife and I awake most of the night. It was maybe just as well as the staff forgot to wake us at 5:30 despite them having written it down when we registered. They gave us a less than meaningful apology when we asked them what happened. We will be staying elsewhere next time.
