Passable

Posted Jul 2, 2015

Location: Excellent location
The entire hotel does not have AC which was a problem during our stay in the summer.

Good Location, But You Get What You Pay For

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Location, front desk clerk, clean updated lobby, complimentary coffee 24 hours.
Cons: Additional staffing, upgraded rooms, window screens
Location: You're right in the middle of the Robson shopping area, so the moment you step outside you'll find many things to do. The location cannot be beat.
The hotel staff members are excellent and courteous, but the only problem is that the place is woefully understaffed. We requested additional sheets for the rollout sofa bed a few times but they never arrived. Finally, we had to just walk down the lobby ourselves to get them. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the kitchenette and bathrooms are pretty nice. Also, why aren't there any mesh screens for the windows? Since the place does not have any air conditioning, it would have been helpful if we could keep the windows open without moths and other bugs flying into the room. Also, you'll have to find parking on the street before you check in. After that, it's $20 per night to park in their garage.

Nice hotel in an ideal yet noisy location

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, accommodating staff
Cons: Quite loud when you open the windows because of people going out at night.
Location: On Robson street, lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel was clean and room was nice. There is no air conditioning, which makes it very hot in the summer, so make sure to request a fan from the front desk.

良いところ

Posted Jun 21, 2015

Good location, comfortable

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: The helpful friendly staff, cleanliness and location.
Location: Many restaurants and shops in the blocks adjacent to the hotel and it was an easy walk to the ferry to Granville Island or to the water front.
A hotel with a relatively small number of rooms in a central location. Very helpful friendly staff and comfortable spacious rooms with separate living room and bedroom. Good location with attractive streets and good for walking down to the water front or to Granville Island. Staff were very helpful in giving directions and suggestions for places to visit. A little more expensive but given the location and the smaller number of rooms, the price was reasonable but thought luggage could have been stored free for the day rather than an extra charge as it was stored beyond 3 pm (only a small charge though)..

Budget hotel close to city

Posted Jun 10, 2015
The hotel has no elevator and our room was on 2nd floor. We had 2 large suitcases to manage up 2 flights of stairs. Luckily the desk staff assisted. The hotel is on a busy street and being there on a Saturday and Sunday night it was very noisy. The weather was unusually hot and there was no air conditioning so we had to leave the window open making the street noise worse.

Apartment hotel on Robson Street

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: We stayed in a roomy one bedroom apt. with a kitchenette overlooking Robson St. Restaurants, shopping, and grocery markets are in walking distance.
Cons: House keeping could be more prompt in replenishing kitchen and bath items. No elevator, all stairs.
Location: Located on a main street. Close to public transportation. Near Stanley Park, aquarium, bicycle rentals and a multitude of bars and restaurants.
We have stayed in this hotel several times during our travels to Vancouver. Friendly staff, clean rooms and in a safe area.

Good basic accommodation with cooking facilities.

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness and friendly helpful staff
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: City centre shopping all in walking distance with lots of restaurants nearby
Great location, clean and tidy with 11 o'clock checkout. The lack of air conditioning means you have to open the windows for several hours before retiring for the night. You have to close the windows or it is too noisy. Parking is 21 per day. Staff are really good and helpful.

Dumpy but in good location

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Great location on Robson street.
Cons: Pay attention to the property, do some work on the rooms, re-paint and for goodness sake replace the complicated toilet roll system
This place is dingy and in disrepair. Simple things like stoppers in the sink and tub are too much trouble apparently and the carpets are worn and looked dirty. We ended up staying 40 minutes past checkout and they charged us $20. Oh, and you can't control the temperature of your own room! If you are hot you have to ask for a fan and if you are cold they will bring you a heater. Amazing...
