A place to stay when you have no choicePosted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: It was a convenient location
Cons: The room was claustrophobic - way too small
Location: Vancouver is great. I would not recommend this hotel
There were bedbugs - a most unpleasant experience and one I have not encountered anywhere else.

It's a nice, inexpensive hotel - but WIFI was downPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Room was big, decent and clean.
Cons: Skipped the breakfast provided by hotel - it's pretty modest.
Location: Location is good - near Grouse Mountain and Lions Gate bridge.
And I needed it for work. Front desk said someone was working on it. Did not work the entire time I was at the hotel.

Really shows its agePosted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location is really good for us.
Cons: Carpets really need to be replaced. Looking a bit worn.
First room had a very distinct unpleasant smell. Got moved and it was much better. While the hotel is clean, it really shows it's age. Also, the high speed internet is not high speed at all.

Don't Bother!Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Location was fine
Cons: Hotel needs major renovation! Services including internet needs to be updated.
Location: Great location. Easy access to Lion's Gate bridge, Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain and Capiliano Suspension Bridge Park. Earl's Restaurant was great!
The room was very tired and old. The cleanliness was also questionable. Even though we indicated that we wanted our room cleaned the housekeepers were in once out of the 5 days we were there. When this fact was raised we were told that we had asked for the room not to be services - which was not true. Internet service was very poor. Breakfast was ok but was not replenished. So once the muffins/pastries were gone that was it for the day. Got this hotel through a "blind" expedia 40% off deal. Was very disappointed.

would not recommend.Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: There's free breakfast
Cons: Wifi connection!!!!
Wi-fi sucks--cannot connect at all. Staffs sound rude and are not really helpful when it comes to giving directions, etc. Location-wise: It's in the middle of nowhere--we need to eat Denny's (which is stupid because there's Denny's in the states and I really don't need to try it there).
