good value

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: The cost. It was a great value.
Cons: Check the deadbolts on the doors. This was a big concern for me.
Location: It was raining the entire time. I had to take cabs.
It was a good value. We stayed for one night on a layover. I did not realize how far it was from activities I had wanted to do. I ended up spending a lot on taxi fare. The deadbolt for the room did not work. Bed was comfortable and linens were exceptional. Staff was very helpful.

Location location location

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The price and proximately to many natural attractions.
Cons: The hotel is getting quite dated and could use some renovations to modernize it.
Location: Capilano Sispension Bridge: 5min grouse mountain: 10min Stanley Park: 10min
The grouse inn is a very simple motel style place to stay. It is not fancy but if you just want a clean room to sleep and spend your days exploring than it is more than adequate. The location is fantastic. It sits on end of the capilano road with easy access to the highway north or the main city via the lions gate bridge. The biggest plus is the fact that it is 5 min drive from the capilano suspension bridge and 10mins from grouse mountain. Stanley park is also a it 10 min away.

Great bed

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The bed.
Cons: The breakfast facility could be enlarged, and the boiled eggs could be served hoy.
Location: Close to the ferry, and to highway 99, which is where we were headed.
Our bed was very comfortable, and the bed cover was white, indicating to me that it gets washed frequently. The room was clean, and the breakfast was adequate, although the room was very crowded, hard to find a place to sit.

Nice quiet motel

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Nice quiet motel even though close to intersection. No windows or doors facing street. Easy access to bus lines. Would have liked hotel staff more helpful in public transportation. Suggest get louging chairs for pool area instead of just chairs. Not relaxing. Also, no paper or TV channel guide available.

Good location

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Location and ease of parking on-site
Cons: Wasn't expecting a 5 star room. Not disappointed with the stay.
Location: Right in the middle of North Vancouver area.
Easy access from Highway 1 and Lion's Gate Bridge as long as it wasn't rush hour...traffic really ties up on Marine Drive during commute. Older motel looks its age, but grounds and rooms are tidy.

ゆっくり落ち着けるホテル

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: とても静かで、落ち着きます。
Cons: インターネットの接続
Location:

It was alright

Posted Jul 19, 2015
The hotel location is great but the hotel itself leaves something to be desired. Our room was old and had several issues. ie the paint was falling off the bathroom door that wouldn't close properly. The staff was absolutely wonderful though.

shower drain not draining, breakfast

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Clean carpets
Location: Capalino bridge, Stanley park. Whistler BC
Staff attempted to fix it but was unsuccessful. Shower not draining is my pet peeve Bath towel was small and they didn't provide hand tower, or face towel for each guest so we shared. Fruit delivery didn't arrive so 2nd night no fruits. Breakfast choices limited. But very nice to have microwave and fridge in room. So we brought food to hotel
