Best Ever!Posted May 21, 2011 on Hotels.com
We often try to use B&Bs anytime we travel because of the comfort and "hominess". This one was our favorite of all time. It was beautifully updated while maintaining all the original character. The host was attentive, friendly and welcoming. Being there was one of the highlights of our vacation. When we return to Vancouver, we will definitely stay there again.

Nice break from the norm...Posted Feb 13, 2011 on Hotels.com
Excellent stay at the Haddon House. I travel so much and spend so much time in hotels, staying here is a nice break from the norm. It's as though you are staying at a friend's house. Very inviting, excellent breakfast and super clean, neat rooms. Johannes, Marie and Duchess are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Exceeded our expectationsPosted Jan 19, 2011 on Hotels.com
The owners are charming and gracious and made us feel at home in their home. The building itself is immaculate, but still very warm and inviting. We had a 4-star breakfast and were privileged to share the morning with the other guest, visiting and exploring nearby Deer Lake Park. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back in the spring/summer for a longer stay - and we will bring our bikes with us next time!

Haddon House B&B - north of VancouverPosted May 20, 2010 on Hotels.com
Beautiful location in a residential neighborhool NE of Vancouver - quiet, 1/2 block from a lake with walking trail, close access to 99/1 north Sea-to-Sky highway for travel to the Capilano Suspension Bridge & into the Coastal Mountains. This Heritage house was beautifully re-done 4 years ago. The main suite is very spacious with a sitting area & ensuite bathroom; the other two bedrooms are smaller, one with ensuite bathroom & one with bathroom across the hall. The hosts Johannes & Marie-Louise are wonderful & interesting people, and the food is amazing - he trained as a caterer in his home country of Switzerland when he was young. Perfect location if you want to be out of the hustle & bustle of downtown Vancouver.

Best deal in BurnabyPosted Dec 30, 2009
Conveniently located in a clean and secure neighborhood within the high tech area of Burnaby also close to major shopping and eating establishments this is an ideal spot for me. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is fantastic. They also have solid wi-fi, flat screen TVs, and snacks round the clock. Pretty much what I'm looking for on my overnight trips to BC.

Not sure there are better hostsPosted Nov 11, 2009
I am speechless at the quality and care of the Haddon house hosts. Physically, emotionally, and even spiritually I think my wife and I were refreshed during our recent stay.
