Comfortable, but noisy area

Pros: Location - Comfort - Nice breakfast.
Cons: Oatmeal on the breakfast bar was watery.
Location: Only 5 minutes from the airport made this a good choice for our midnight flight arrival. Reimbursed us for taxi fare.
The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly.

Great Hotel close to Airport

Location: It is located about a 5 minute walk from a sky train station which we took to the waterfront and then walked to Stanley Park which was beautiful.
Our room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The shuttle service began at 4 a.m. To take us to the airport for an early morning flight!

Cons: Hotel could use an upgrade. Lobby chairs were in tatters. Having coffee 24/7 is appreciated but lose coffee mate & replace with half & half.
Location: Close to the airport & sky train.
The hotel staff was friendly & helpful with questions. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast & airport shuttle.

Not a very enjoyable stay

Pros: Clean room, clean bed
Cons: I will never go back too many things especially traffic problems.
Location: I only needed a hotel for the evening to catch a plane the next morning.
First time I ever had "a not so enjoyable stay" at a Hampton Hotel. There was a "Night Market" near by, traffic was terrible, it took over 45 minutes to drive the last three blocks to turn into the hotel driveway. When I asked about this inconvenience the clerk only smiled and told me it is always like this every weekend until the fall with the first snow. Loud noise coming from the bathroom, maybe a boiler behind the wall. Poor Internet connection. Additionally I was charged an extra $50 which the clerk could not explain why although I was informed I should receive a refund within two weeks. The entrance of the hotel was filthy and the lobby and dining areas were not really clean and had a tired worn out look. Yet I notice furniture and curtains in my room looked fine.

Good location for early flight.

Pros: Coffee and tea always available, nice breakfast, great staff, nice TV, free wifi.
Cons: Furniture showing its age a bit.
Location: Close to the River Rock Casino, and Bridgeport TransLink stop. A couple of fast food places near, and nice restaurants a little further away.
Our room was on the noisy side, but constant fan on the HVAC unit helped. Wonderful, helpful staff. Managed to negotiate TransLink trains and buses with their excellent assistance. Breakfast was very good with homemade muffins! We had to leave the hotel at 4:30 AM to catch an early flight - shuttle was right on time.

Comfortable and convenient for airport

We had a lovely one night stay at the hotel before a flight. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and booked us a transfer to the airport for early the next morning. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a little late to get started so we were a bit rushed to eat and get our transfer. Otherwise overall it was a comfortable stay.

Electronic key problems

Things were generally ok, but they had to move us from one room to another because the key or lock mechanism did not work (not even for the manager). In the second room, we often had to try several times. Another family member had difficulty too. System needs replacing.
