Horrible Policy

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Would not refund my money even though they knew full well the reservation was to have been made in the USA

Dear Guest, sorry for the inconvenience caused due to our partner refund policy. All prices through expedia are at such great and discounted prices that a full refund is just not possible should you need to cancel. In future please confirm the refund policy before booking, we always try our best to make sure you know the process.

Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Cons: Most of the hotel that we had been they provide complementary breakfast .
Nothing to do in the hotel. The room we had was overlooking the boiler room

Dear Guest thanks for your review today. While we want to provide the best breakfast experience to todays business traveller, mostly our guests prefer a hot plated breakfast in a reasturant setting and this is the difference between Holiday Inn Suites and Express brand. We cater to the plated breakfast market, for a very little amount more you can choose the best for breakfast rates that will include the breakfast in your room rate. Please ask us for a quieter room next time and we will be happy to provide you with a view facing room. Looking forward to making your stay better next time.

Clean and pleasant

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Location: We did not visit anything nearby as our destination was Vancouver and Chinese food in Richmond.
We are visiting Vancouver but the hotel there are pricy. Further way is this nice Holiday Inn in Cloverdale. It is about a 40 minute drive to Richmond and Vancouver everyday but worth the savings. We stayed 2 nights and then drove down to Seattle for 2 nights. We decided to come back to this hotel for another 2 nights after. The staff allowed us to keep our luggage until our return and remembered us. I told them I will come back and they were pleased to hear it.

Dear Tang glad that your trip was a success and all savings were worthwhile. Our hotel is a great transit point 30 min out of richmond and vancouver with huge savings on parking and room prices. If your trip involves vancouver and Seattle then staying with us is a great option. Thanks

Very comfortable hotel close to many amenities

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: We liked having a small bar area with a refrigerator, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The noisiness of the air conditioner, and hopefully a bigger pool!
Our stay at this hotel was quite pleasing and relaxing. The room was clean and it was fairly quiet. However, the air conditioner was quite noisy, but we did not need it much so that was okay. At first, the flush of the toilet was surprising since it was quite loud. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, we wanted them for ourselves! The pool was a little small, but it was not busy so that was okay also. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Thanks for your stay Laura, the long summer this year definitely took its toll on our AC's and they might have started making more noise, they have all been serviced now.The toilet are all high power commercial grade that do make more noise compared to the ones at our house. But they are good that what they do. You are not the first one who has loved our bedding, it is by far the most comfortable I have seen in the industry. hope to see you in winter too...

Thanks for the real review. Glad you the adjoining rooms fit your needs. Our beds are the highest commercial grade that can fit in a hotel and they are very well liked. Now this can be the reason that they are not super soft like we have in our houses. Hope that explains, next time please ask for an extra bedding for comfort.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet. Air Conditioner was working perfectly, this was very important because we really just wanted to go for a swim and escape the heat .

Need cots

Posted Aug 11, 2014
When we booked said there would be two adults and one child, assumed that meant there would be enough bedding for everyone, even though we booked a king room (all doubles were rented out), since in the pictures it shows a couch in the rooms. Had no cots, or extra bedding, or couch. Would be very nice if they invested in some cots, since you do charge extra for kids. Staff was extremely friendly

Hi Jay Thanks for your stay and the comments. Sorry for the inconvenience, when travelling with a family please call us in advance so that we can give you double queen room next time. Cots are not allowed as per brand standards as there is a extra wear & tear to move them around, and it also effects the comfort of the room. The pull out sofa you saw in the picture was in a suite room and the fact that we did not upgrade you to a suite must have been because suites were sold out. We try our best to take care of families, please do give us another chance and we will make sure you have a more comfortable stay next time.
