Clean airport hotel

Pros: Clean, well-appointed and efficient, friendly service.

Cons: The surrounding area, 'airport alley' in Richmond.'

Location: Industrial charm, but reasonably well situated for the airport.

Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport was a great place for a one-night stay, returning to the UK from holidays on the West Coast. Clean, well appointed with friendly and efficient staff. It's no destination hotel, in the midst of the 'airport' hotel district, which has all the charm of an industrial estate. But, the hotel itself is clean, and pleasant. The pub-style restaurant next door is great for a late-night drink and does a decent breakfast. Airport shuttle is a plus, and is about 20-30 minutes (including a stop at the sister hotel Airport Express, which looks decidedly downmarket in comparison). It isn't close to downtown, and getting there by public transport is a bit of a faff. But, for a one-night stay, it was what we needed: well run, clean and quiet ... and you could do much worse for the same money.

The room is clean and beds are comfortable. Staffs are nice and helpful. Close to airport. Size of room is a bit small.

Pros: Kids ate for free and the restaurant was actually quite good.

Cons: No pool, no fridge

Location: Close to everything if you have a car.

Great service, kids ate for free. Restaurant was open late and was not half bad. Clean rooms - could have used a small fridge though. Lots of towels and was well stocked otherwise. Will book again.

Pros: Rooms were very comfortable

Location: Great. Only a few minutes from the airport.

It was great, staff were wonderful. It was a totally positive experience and i will book to stay again. Breakfast was very good too and so were the staff there. Excellent.

Pros: cheap

Cons: food in restaurant

Location: close to airport

good staff, and Fogg and Suds is right there for watching the sports and having a pint with some typical pub fare food. Not alot to do or see in the vicinity... this is a sleep and shuttle to the airport option that was very affordable. good bang for your buck if you can get a room under $85 is decent enough...

It was very convenient as we had an early departure,. Pub attached to hotel, clean and good food.
