“Best location”
The Cactus Club Cafe is right behind the hotel. The is just two blocks away. Super hotel!
“Will go there again”
I really liked this hotel very much. We went up there for a "get a way" weekend and had so much fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was great. He recommended us the best place to eat. The rooms are clean and quaint. I have stayed at other hotels in Vancouver and found this one top notch. Would go back again.
“Convenient location, friendly staff, and prompt service.”
Hotel Le Soleil is conviniently located to all attractions. I walked to everywhere: Canada Place, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, Stanley Park, etc. Also walking distance (5 blocks) to Waterfront Canada Line station which will take you to Vancouver International Airport in 25 minutes! It is on the north end of Hornby Street; if you walk down to the south end, you can catch the Seabus to Granville Island where wonderful Public Market is located. Although the hotel room was on a small side, it had two twin beds and a separate living area with the second 44-inch flat screen TV. I was out all day every day so the size didn't matter much. It was clean and comfortable. Mini bar area had Keurig coffee maker with complementary individual pods. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel.
“Vancouver 2011”
Quiet, close to eveything, great desk people, and loved my stay
“lovely boutique hotel”
Would definitely stay there again. Only minus is very small room size. They have made the most of everything they have. High quality!
“Boutique Hotel In Vancouver”
While our stay in Vancouver was brief, the Hotel Soliel provided a comfortable and well located base for our sightseeing and dining. The hotel is well appointed and the staff very helpful. The rooms tend to be a bit small but are nicely decorated and clean. We hope to visit Vancouver in the future and would consider staying at this hotel again.
“no problem”
We were attending a conference at the Convention Center, just a few blocks away (which is why location was a primary reason for having chosen this lodging). The hotel was fine: the staff was very pleasant, the location great. Besides close to the Convention Center, it was a short walk from Gastown (restaurant district), Robson St. (touristy shopping street, with lots of great restaurants, including Hon's Chinese), and the Vancouver Art Gallery (with filter-triggering initials). Vancouver has great public transportation, so it was easy to get to Granville Island (which would have been a longish walk), Kitsilano (with a 137 m outdoor pool!), and UBC (including its anthopological museum). We'd stay in Hotel Le Soleil again!
“front desk, concierage and bell staff outstanding! They were helpful, knowledgable and gracious”
Front desk staff had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. They made all of our reservations and sent written confirmations to our room. They annotated maps for us for all the destinations they recommended, booked a fabulous tour and were excellent hosts.
“excellent hotel in dt vancouver”
Great room and location.
“Very nice downtown hotel.”
The suites are comfortable and clean. A perfect place to relax after sightseeing and shopping. Service is exceptional and rooms are clean. Quiet considering business district location.
