Everything is walking distancePosted Mar 12, 2014
Everytime that I visit Vancouver I only stay at this hotel. Everything is walking distanced within 1-2 blocks away from the hotel. 2 blockes aways is the haubour front, the view is amazing. Right beside the hotel is the Skytrain. The skytrain can take you anywhere in B.C. Rooms is very clean. Hotel employees are very nice and helpful.

Great location and on top of rapid transit stationPosted Mar 12, 2014
Cons: The bar "Grain" in the hotel was quite nice, but unfortunately closes a little early (either 12am or 1am depending on what you read).
Location: There is a neat bar across the street called "Blackbird" with a nice upstairs bar with great whiskey selection.
This hotel worked perfectly for a quick weekend escape to Vancouver. It was very central to everything and most places downtown are walkable from there.

conference weekendPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: price and location and cleanliness and comfortable
Location: Convention centre is very close, and shopping along the streets
Great location to stay at while attending a conference at the Vancouver Convention centre, just a few blocks walk. Also very close to the train which was easy to get around to. There's a train station just outside the hotel (Burrard station?), but we walked a few blocks to get a different train (City Centre station) to take us to and from the airport, but it was still quite close. The train outside the hotel requires a transfer of trains to get to the airport so we took the City Centre station train instead which did not require the transfer. The beds were very comfortable and our hotel room was very close to the elevator but I didn't hear any noise from other people in the hallways or getting on/off the elevator.

Great hotel at a great locationPosted Mar 10, 2014
This hotel is the perfect place to stay for conventions. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the gym is also very convenient for working out in the morning. Everything is close by to the hotel, the sky train station is right across the street, the convention centres are 8 minutes walk away, and Robson street is about 7 minutes walk. There is wireless and wired internet available in the rooms which is very fast.

A reliably excellent hotelPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Their restaurant, The Mosaic Grill, is not to be missed.
Cons: I wish the shower heads were a bit more forceful.
I stay here every time I'm in Vancouver. It's comfortable, has great staff, and is in a great location.

Modern hotel in heart of downtown VancouverPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Great shower and view.
Cons: Sound proofing between adjoining rooms!
We had a nice stay at the Hyatt. The décor is nice and modern and I especially liked the Starbucks in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there is not adequate sound proofing between rooms. The last night of our stay, a large group checked into the room adjacent to us and we could hear everything thru the adjoining door between rooms. I mean we could hear EVERYTHING! It sounded as though they were in our room!

Great Central LocationPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Location ! Staff. Starbucks in Lobby. Nice clean rooms. Comfy beds.
Cons: nothing really?
Location: Close to great restaurants: Cactus Clubs and Joeys at Bentall 1. Walking distance to both conference centers and the location of the Olympic torch.
Within walking distance of shopping and convention centers. Great Bar/restaurant downstairs. Staff and Doormen very friendly and efficient. Close to water with a great view of the city line and the north shore.
