Nice hotel, good location, modern room.Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Nice hotel. Rooms are modern, clean, and the King bed suites are really big.
Cons: Elevator touchscreen keypads were kind of annoying to use. Hotel staff has to 'show you how it works'.
Location: Location is very central. Easy to get to/from the Skytrain to the Airport and avoid taxi fees.
Stayed here while in Vancouver on a business trip.

Great location in VancouverPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Large rooms, very comfortable beds, clean room and very friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel really needs to offer free WiFi. The Tim Horton's and McDonald's next door offer free WiFi. Parking is also extremely expensive.
Location: JJ Beans is just North of the Hotel and offers the best coffee in town. Gastown is within walking distance. Lots of fantastic restaurants close by.
Really great location and a very nice hotel. Spacious rooms and they had everything we needed for our stay. We asked for a high floor and they accommodated with the 28th floor. We had a great view of the city. There are plenty of coffee shops close by as well as restaurants within walking distance. It's easy to access from the airport or the ferry. The parking is extremely expensive and the Hotel really needs to come up with a solution. They should also offer free WiFi. It's free almost everywhere else, including remote areas on Vancouver Island.

Excellent location, great staff!Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: The staff, location, and comfortable nature of the room.
Cons: The cost for internet access could be rolled into the nightly rate.
Location: There are numerous restaurants, cafes, and shopping areas nearby. Easy access to the Skytrain as well.
Right off the Canada Line and able to access the Expo/King George lines of the Skytrain, this hotel is prime for downtown location while still giving you access to the further reaches of the metropolitan area. The staff are great, the elevators (five of them) prioritise access for the fastest way to different floors.

None of the staff knew what the Grey Cup was.Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: The lay out of the bars and restraunts was great.
Cons: inform staff.
The service in bars and lounges was super slow, because they were not ready for the amount of people that was coming to the Hotel. Staff was not schooled on what the Grey cup was, or how long it would be there. etc.

Nice hotel close to downtown and other sightseeingPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Hotel in an Excellent location with pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms felt safe, had all appliances required and were kept efficiwntly clean by staff
Cons: Improve congestion at the lift area, if possible.
Location: Downtown shopping, art exhibitions, museum, Cold Harbour walk, easy access to Stanly Park, large variety of different types of restaurants.
All staff encountered were more than helpful, courteous and friendly from the minute I walked in the door from the front desk, foyer staff, restaurant and housekeeping. All made for a very comfortable stay especially when you are travelling on your own.

Downtown LocationPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Location was great and the condition of room was excellent
Cons: Getting your car onto the street from the garage- Soooo many pedestrians - had to wait long time to clear the foot traffic !

underwhelming for the pricePosted Dec 2, 2014
Location: great. Robson Street, good restaurants.
Stayed in a club room over the Grey Cup weekend. Thought it was expensive for a rather ordinary room. We stayed in a club room as the rest of the hotel was full. No bath robes. Only powdered milk for the coffee. Bathtub is tiny!! Great front desk customer service.

Cons: Provide microwave (at least one on each floor).
Location: close to everywhere
Good place to stay except free wifi only on lobby. If microwave is usable, that can give more pleasure to stay...

Good Hotel in the centre of townPosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfort
Cons: Parking fees slashed. Free WiFi.
Room was great - wonderful beds. The parking fees were something I am not used to - $28 per day. Far too high in my opinion. Also not used to paying $15/day for WiFi. Breakfast very expensive - luckily there is a McDonalds in the same building - irony? Obviously, I am accustomed to hotels lower on the totem pole where these features are part of the price. The hotel probably caters to wealthy business people with expense accounts.
