Location is fantastic, hotel staff excellent.

Location: Close to all the downtown Vancouver attractions.
Only stayed one night, but would definitely return. Wonderful hotel with extremely attentive staff and a lovely welcoming room. We had a petite boutique room with a gas/electric fireplace, a well organized and spacious bathroom, and good seating. Internet worked very well. The Concierge and valet services were super.

L'Hermitage is wonderful!

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Everything! Room great - bed comfy! Close to venues...staff excellent!
Cons: More food on the inhouse menu, maybe? But those artisanal pizzas were delicious! Had the chicken and the pulled pork ones - gooood!
Location: Went to Rogers Arena to see Fleetwood Mac - easy to walk, fun to join all the crowds enroute! Gone to hockey games, same thing: very convenient!
Great staff - very helpful, accommodating, friendly. Room so comfy! Order in - the chef makes yummy artisanal pizzas! Then you are close to Rogers arena, bc place....theatres and entertainment venues. Walking distance...close! Love staying here! Has a gym and steam room. Pool too! We will definitely return!

Nice boutique hotel

Great staff, well appointed and cared for hotel. Unfortunately, the construction of Telus Garden across the street makes it a very busy and noisy location right now ( at least during the day).

Nice stay

Cons: chocolates on the pillow! ;-)
Location: walk, walk, walk...............dine, shop, people watch, go to galleries, warm up in coffee shops
Our room was bright and clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the large bathroom! The location is great, too!...........especially for shopping and dining.........near Yaletown (Flying Pig......happy hour). The very polite and gracious staff let us check in early. Nice pool and exercise facility. We will be back.

Great stay at L'Hermitage!

Posted Nov 17, 2014
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was nice and large, with a small fireplace for ambiance. It overlooked the construction across the street but I couldn't hear anything through the double paned windows. Great location - in walking distance to Gas Town. The only negative was my room number - 666! It honestly freaked me out a bit.

Pros: Location, hotel staff and the very nice rooms
Cons: Construction was ongoing across the street on Richards Strret. Life in a big city with growth. It did not bother me but perhaps it may others
Location: There is apparently a very popular restaurant located next to the hotel. Lines would begin just before they open for breakfast.
Excellent boutique hotel located in the central downtown area. The hotel was located just off of Robson Street, which is the downtown street which includes a vast amount of restaurants and retail stores. The staff was attentive and informative and made you their priority during the stay. I stayed in a king size room which included a electric fireplace and a espresso maker! The rooms were comfortable with many nice amenities. Vancouver is a beautiful city and the hotel enhanced the experience.

Very Nice Hotel in a Good Location

Great location, close to almost everything down town. We had one of the small rooms, nothing special but fine for a couple nights. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

Nothing to complain.

Pros: everything
It is just beautiful and luxurious hotel. Nothing to complain. Do try Cafe Medina, just next door of the hotel, which serves nice exotic all day brunch. Of course breakfast of hotel itself was very nice.

We had a room with no heat and we were quickly relocated to an upgraded suite and the parking for 3 days was written off plus a personal call after checkout from the GM. Can't get much better than that.
