Nice hotel right in downtownPosted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: The location, the staff, the restaurant, the room: everything is good.
Cons: Maybe, the courtesy transportation for the clients to go shopping, to get to the restaurants and to the airport.
Location: Near the hotel, there is a lot of nice restaurants and we can walk to the beach as well.
The location of this hotel is perfect. Everything is at walking distance: shopping, restaurants and most of all is the safety during day and night.

Pros: Proximity to downtown. Kitchenette available.
Everything good except all 3 elevators were not working at the same time. Had to climbed to the 11th floor.

Back to the HotelPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Location is very central which is great for my wife to shop while I am in meetings.
Cons: New Elevators
My wife and I have always stayed at the Sutton Place or the La Grand Residence when is Vancouver. I would have to say that this will be the last time we will stay at the La Grand Residence. Being a VIP member was not much of a help as the room was beside the elevator, poorly laid out and the furniture was uncomfortable. This is far from what we have experienced before with Sutton Place and it was a disappointing stay. We will try the Hotel side of the facility again and see if the experience is better.

Downtown LivingPosted Feb 24, 2015
Newly renovated apartment was perfect for our family, next door to a wine store and grocery store, lots of shopping, convenient bus stop right outside the hotel. Stanley Park walkable from here.

Nice, centrally locatedPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Very central
Location: Nice, very central
Dated, but live able . Reasonably clean, tidy, restaurant is overpriced. No view, therefore prices should not be so high. Burger was ok, drinks a rip off!

Great downtown location!Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Gym and pool were good.
Location: Very conveniently located near transit, as just a few blocks from the Vancouver City Centre station - lots of great shopping and restaurants near-by.
Loved the space as we had a one bedroom (plus a sofa bed) suite on the 17th floor. Appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, and there's a grocery store just one block away - made it easy to stock up for breakfasts and lunches at the hotel.

Nice hotel close to everything you need.Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Location, spaciousness of the rooms.
Cons: The soundproofing in the rooms.
Location: Seawall, Stanley Park, tons of restaurants and good shopping, close to Rogers Arena.
The suite was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony. The hotel is located across the street from a grocery store for any supplies we needed. It is close to lots of shopping and delicious restaurants. We walked to the hockey game, it was only about a mile away. The walls are quite thin and you can clearly hear the people talking in the next room. The evening we were there, the other guests on our floor were quite loud. Security did come up to talk to them and it got a bit quieter but was still very loud. The hotel was apologetic for the incident. They offer turn down service at night which was a pleasant surprise as the pullout was made up for our kids when we returned from the game. Parking is expensive (and no different to valet or self-park), but to be expected in Vancouver. The men from at the valet service made our boys day when they gave them cookies upon checking out!
