OK PLACE CLOSE TO THE AIRPORTPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Breakfast was very busy. Perhaps better organization would avoid line-ups.
Location: Don't know.
We were well received by helpful people. The breakfast was perhaps less than 5 Star but the coffee was good. Again, people were very good.

Nice, small hotel close to Vancouver AirportPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The room was very comfortable and was the bed as well. The bathroom was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast area is too small, so the hours should be extended from 3 to 3.5
Location: we chose La Quinta because is close to the airport and in the Richmond area where there are many choices for food lovers, especially asian food.
If you don't like to stay in those big hotels, go to La Quinta where you can feel almost as home. This hotel has an easy parking space and quick check in. It is a small hotel, so you don't have to wait for almost any thing. Don't forget to bring your swim suit because they have a hot tub and a cover pool. For breakfast you need to be early, or you have to wait for a table. Although the breakfast is self service it has fresh fruit and good plain yogurt besides the usual cereals, waffles and toast.

Clean hotelPosted Sep 8, 2014
We got there before the check in time and they let us check into our room early which is a huge relief. Also, it's close to restaurants and a free shuttle to the airport. Also across is a Karaoke bar and that's always fun.

Amenities GalorePosted Sep 8, 2014
Free airport shuttle, free breakfast, accommodated early check in, helpful with Vancouver information, close to shopping mall, three blocks to Sky Train. Sky Train to city center was $4.00 one way. That made it as good as $300 dollar downtown hotels. Large room, excellent mattress, Did not get a chance to use indoor pool or whirlpool, but they appear in good shape. Free Wi-Fi and two computers in business room...good to print boarding passes...one glitch...both printers out of ink!

Nice hotel convenient to Skytrain and AirportPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Almost everything. Good value for money.
Cons: The hours of the continental breakfast. During the week it was only open until 9am, which was early for us while on vacation.
Location: Right down the street from Lansdowne Mall, the Skytrain and great Asian food resturants. Short drive to hwy to get to town so nice and convenient.
We stayed 3 nights. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Housekeeping staff great. Pool/juccuzi was good and clean.

One night stay, worked out okay.Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Quick response when problem with internet was identified.
Cons: Room could be freshened up with a carpet cleaning and a thorough scrub of the bathroom.
Check in was done quickly and easily. Room 403 was reasonably clean; shower surround could have used a more thorough cleaning, and the carpet throughout needs freshening up. Cable for the internet was faulty; front desk notified, and responded very quickly with a new cable. However, internet was intermittent. Breakfast was fine, the usual fare - toast, muffins, fruit and yogurt, tea, coffee, juice, etc. No problem recommending this hotel.

Nice hotel, marginal neighborhoodPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Close to airport, interior condition is good, quick breakfast, good mattresses.
Cons: Computer area, particularly printers.
Location: Close to the airport.
Hotel is surrounded by closed businesses and low end businesses, so it didn't make a great first impression on my wife. The hotel itself was almost exactly what I hoped for. The only disappointment inside the building was the guest computer area which was poorly maintained. There were two printers and four sheets of paper. One printer didn't seem to work at all, although there appeared to be a driver for it. The other printer was in desperate need of toner. The boarding passes I printed were mostly illegible. The staff seemed disinterested in dealing with the computer issues. They did a great job with everything else. Location is close to the airport, the mattress was excellent, everything was in good condition expect for the computer printers. The continental breakfast - including hard boiled eggs and waffles - worked well for us between 6:00 and 6:30 AM. We were able to get through quickly.
