Perfect place to stay before travelingPosted Nov 24, 2014
We had to leave so early in the morning the breakfast wasn't going to be set out yet, but at check-in, the lady behind the front desk offered us some muffins and milk for our child. I thought it was very considerate of her and was super helpful. Totally saved up having to deal with a hangry little one

Never again !!Posted Nov 24, 2014
Cons: Have the charges reversed.
We arrived at this hotel after a long flight at 11:00pm only to be told that, for some reason, they didn't have a room for us. We were sent to another hotel and told that it would be complimentary which was also confirmed by the new hotel both on arriving and at check-out. Subsequently, I noted that two charges have been made to my credit card of approximately $100. What goes on ??

Plenty of restaurants close byPosted Nov 19, 2014
This hotel by far was one of the best hotel experience we have had (taken into account the cost). It is in the heart of Richmond and there were so many food options close by. We drove from Seattle, so we had the car. Hotel is very clean.

Pros: Very good price!
Cons: The smell of chlorine from the small indoor-pool was very overpowering in the lobby area.
Location: Close to YVR
King-size bed and good-sized desk made the stay very pleasing. Very impressve was the complimentary breakfast buffet - even waffles were available!

Shuttle is not 24 hoursPosted Nov 11, 2014
Location: Arrived at 9 PM Left at 6 AM. It is in the middle of Chinatown.
Clean room - close to elevator was noisy for awhile. Did not realize shuttle was not 24 hours. Had to call a taxi for 6 AM departure. Cost $20.

Good cost-effective hotel for overnight transit.Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Low cost, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Shuttle every 20 minutes would be better.
Location: Close to Asian businesses and restaurants. Many restaurants and shops within 5 minute walk.
Stayed at hotel on a number of overnight flights through Vancouver airport. Hotel is clean, cost effective, and staff are always friendly. Shuttle to airport runs every half hour and is a bonus.

OK hotel. Free shuttle from airport.Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Free small continental breakfast.
Location: There are several Asian restaurants nearby, but had to walk too many blocks at night, to get American food.
A lot of road noise from the cars driving in front of my room on the second floor. The people in the room next to me had 2 dogs that barked quite a bit. While I like it that LaQuinta allows pets, I think they should segregate them in rooms away from other guests.
