Nice view and access

Great view of Vancouver skyline. Rooms were adequate & comfortable. Loved that there were plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The cafe staff was so polite and courteous. Only negative I can say was that the shops and restaurants below closed too early.

Nice Hotel. Watch for extra charges

Posted Oct 18, 2014
The Expedia price looks low, but by the time you add all the fee's its another $20 dollars. Not sure what a "facility fee" is for. Parking is an additional $12, which is probably reasonable for Vancouver but it all adds up. However the location is nice: in with the Quay, on the water, great access to North Van, and if you are inclined, an easy trip on the sea bus to downtown Vancouver. Nice staff.

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable room

Beautiful location - seaside and right above the market. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and free wifi was provided. Parking, like everywhere else in Vancouver, had a fee but it was actually the cheapest I could find in the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay here!

Great hotel in a unique location

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The price was certainly hard to beat. It varies depending on how you book, but we were very happy with the price.
This hotel IS Vancouver. The hotel and staff were great, the location is excellent. The sea bus is steps away, and the market down below is very cool. We realized on our last day that hotel guests get 10% off of their purchases in the market. Considering the rooms overlook the shipyards, it was quiet. Our room had two queen beds, with no room for a comfy chair other than the desk chair. First world problems. We would stay here again and again.

Very Disappointing :-(

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Great location. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
Put us in an outdated, noisy, room claiming that it was the last Standard room and that for a fee per night we could upgrade to an Executive King Room with an ocean view. We paid for the upgrade and received a Queen bed with a partial ocean view.

Overpriced and outdated

Liked the location. That's about it. Other aspects were below expectations. Outdated facility.
