Nice hotel, good location

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Very well maintained, managed.
Cons: Parking isn't great, costly.
Location: Easy access to many places by Seabus and train.
Great location. Proximity to Quayside market and the Seabus were big pluses.

Convenient Location for Downtown and North Shore

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Good location and price
Location: Steps to the Sea-bus to Vancouver, lots of good restaurants, public market and bars nearby.
Traveled without a car on the ferry from Vancouver Island. Easy access to public transit. Attended a family reunion at a restaurant in Gastown using the Sea Bus. Visited friends at a near by bar. Met other friends for breakfast in the Lonsdale Quay Market. Returned to the ferry by bus. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the harbour.

Inexpensive but lots of outside noise

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Certainly a satisfactory place for the price.
Cons: GIven the style of the hotel and its openness to the waterfront, noise should be expected and may be attractive to some.
I had a view of the waterfront east of the hotel. Interesting and industrial, but also noisy. Lots of creaking boards and banging metal and I had to turn on the heat fan to cover the noise so I could sleep. The interior of the hotel rooms and corridors are slightly banged up, but the construction was solid and, aside from the outside noise, there wasn't a lot of noise transmitted. The hotel is on the third floor of the Lonsdale Quay market, and I had a hard time finding the parking lot until after I'd been up to check in. I was here in January and I imagine it could be harder when things are hopping in the summer.

Good location

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Above Lonsdale Market and 5 minutes from Lions Gate Hospital
Cons: Improve electrical outlets to charge our electronics
Location: Great location but the construction on the pier development next door is noisy at times
This hotel's convenient location is what attracted us (we've stayed several times). However, it is a modest hotel.

Great, they upgraded the room for me when I checked in. Very nice staff. Excellent location to where I needed to be. Just steps away from the Sea Bus.

Nice clean comfortable hotel in a great location.

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Close to sea bus and Lonsdale markets are right downstairs.
In our first room the TV did not work and when we told them at the front desk they immediately upgraded us to an executive room. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would recommend this hotel and it was great in the morning to be able to go down and enjoy the markets. The sea bus to downtown Vancouver is very convenient.

Great spot

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Beautiful sunrises. Very close to boardwalk and hospital. Quay market has a variety of food and shops that are very reasonable as well as a great coffee shop out front. Great restraunts around as well as unique shops if you want to go exploring. Seabus is right there - safe underground pking even for large pick ups
