I was looking for a place close to the Quay.Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: The closeness to the Sea Bus and local transportation in West Vancouver.
Cons: I would update the rooms, at least in my section of the hotel.
Location: Steps away from the Sea Bus to Vancouver and the bus station for West North Vancouver and the surrounding area. Many markets, shops and restaurants.
It was a good deal for the price. I got my place close to the Quay with a bed and facilities. The room was clean and way from any noise, so I slept good. This is an older hotel and the part I was staying in has not been updated for a while, but they have more expensive rooms. It worked out just fine for me.

Waterfront Hotel at a reasonable pricePosted Sep 17, 2014
The location was excellent, located right above the Lonsdale Quay market on the waterfront of the North Shore. We loved the view looking across to Canada Place. The Sea Bus is a fast and fun way to get into the city. We opted for the small extra charge for an included breakfast and enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. Well worth the extra few dollars.

Hotel lacks organization.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Great location doesn't always mean great stay. Love the market below the hotel but it closes early. The hotel lacks organization, parking was full or difficult at times, rooms and hallways are dark and no HD TV? It's almost a real hotel but never felt like it.

Londsdale Quay HotelPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: The location is great at Lonsdale Quay, easy access to downtown Vancouver on the Seabus and great restaurants within a block. The price was agreeable.
Cons: Not much can be done. It is an older hotel but how do you change that.
Location: Great Italian and German restaurants within 2 blocks, the Lonsdale market, the summer bands and festivities, location of the Seabus within a half blk
The hotel is fine, not fancy but is clean and has everything I want.

Nice hotel, convenient locationPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Seabus
Cons: Parking.....often full during the day
Upon check, we discovered we had been upgraded to a room with a partial view of the city across Burrard Inlet - a most pleasant surprise! Front desk staff efficient and friendly. Downfall was lack of parking while checking in and no signage to indicate this. Paid parking was in the adjacent underground lot which is also used by the Lonsdale Quay Market. This resulted in some difficulty finding a spot during daytime Market hours.

Excellent view of harbour & downtown VancouverPosted Sep 11, 2014
Check in quick & easy. Underground parking @ $12/day. Room was clean & comfortable. Coffee maker & fridge. Staff we dealt with was pleasant & accommodated our requests quickly & efficiently. View from the room onto the harbour & downtown Vancouver is beautiful. Above the Lonsdale Quay Market Next door to the sea bus to downtown. This hotel is great value for what we paid. With a couple of additions ( ie: cream rinse, mouthwash, shower cap, larger bath sheets, etc) this hotel would be a **** to ****1/2 star hotel. Would definitely recommend. From what we could see, this hotel has same or better views of the harbour & downtown than the Pinnicle which was more $$

LonsdalePosted Sep 10, 2014
Construction on the wharf starts at 7am so plan to wake up no later than that. The 4th floor hall smellsike wet dog. Had a nice $16 dollar charge on my bill for 2 breakfast vouchers even though I travelled alone. Overall an unpleasant stay.

Old hotel, desperately needs renovatingPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Location. If you need to be on the North Shore without a car, then this location is great for transit access.
Cons: They really need to demolish the hotel and start over.
Location: Easy access to downtown via sea-bus.
1. No sheer drapes on windows: room are overlooked by adjacent offices therefore no privacy 2. Balconies not secure - anybody from adjacent rooms could easily walk/climb onto your balcony 3. Air conditioning is noisy and inefficient (used to setting the temperature? not at this hotel) 4. No walk-in shower, and the shower-head in the bathtub screeches 4. Decor is dated (polyester oriental fabrics) 5. Phone is on other side of room, not next to bed 6. TV is limited, no Bloomberg and intelligent information, mainly reality shows.

I will never stay anywhere else in vancouverPosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: location, luxurious feeling.
Location: seabus to downtown and Stanley park is just downstairs. bus loop to any tourist attractions in north Vancouver is below you as well.
this hotel Is perfect, I have stayed twice now. last year I got a room on the east side of the building where your window opens up directly over the water and you have a view of the Vancouver skyline. as I was about to rebook it this year I noticed that the website says that the rooms on the other side of the building have a small patio but no guarantee of a decent view. nice undersell because when I was told I had a room on the west side I was disappointed. when I got to the room and opened the patio door and saw that the view was even better than the other side I nearly had a conniption. so add in the market and shopping below and proximity to the seabus and you have a superb hotel.
