Can do better

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: The market and view
Cons: Update the rooms and don't make the guests pay for parking
Location: The seabus is close by so it's easy to get to downtown van
I spent one night at the lendable quay hotel. The room Was small and basic with a beautiful view of a parking lot.The bumper guards screwed to the wall corners was a particulary elegant touch. The area was ok,a few resteraunts around and an IGA across the street,They charge you 12 dollars for parking ,It would be a nice view of the harbour if your on that side of the hotel,I was looking for basic accommodations and that what I got but I think there is better deals elsewhere

We loved it here!

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Great spot if you want to do some exploring. Right next to the Sea Bus, close to the TC highway and lots to see and do right on the quay.
Cons: Bit of construction going on.
Location: Easy access to Gastown, Capillano Park, right on top of a nice little market and found lots of great little restaurants right close by.
It was the perfect spot and we definitely will go again. Loved the market, the food the easy access to everything, the weather was great, the people were friendly. Had an amazing time. Can't wait until we can go again!

Great hotel to stay at! Great location!

Cons: The one thing that we noticed was the bathroom. It was older, very small and cramped and in need of renovation.
We always stay at this hotel when we are in North Vancouver. The location is central, and having the market and the Sea Bus right there is very handy. The staff was tremendous and really cared about the service they gave us…they even called to see if the room was okay and if we needed anything! Very quiet and clean, and good value for the price.

Nice location

Pros: Location is very nice. Washroom is clean....
Cons: The pillow is too soft and blanket is out of date. They both looks awful. If they can also change towel, I can rate this hotel excellent....
I love this hotel, very friendly staff, nice and big room. But pillows blankets and towels needs to be changed.

Pros: Very competitive price
Cons: a little bit noisy no night store
Nice night down town view across the river. Seabus is right down the hotel that takes you to the down town. Kids really loved it. You can easily go to Grouse Mt. Lovely market right under hotel

Gorgeous view of the Vancouver Harbour

Overall, the experience was very good. The hotel is well situated over a public market on the North Vancouver shoreline overlooking the Vancouver Harbour. Views of the harbour and North Shore Mountains are beyond compare. Our room unfortunately looked out onto a walkway necessitating drawn curtains at all times. Alas, the reality of not being a high roller. It was cheap! That said, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and satisfactory. Noise not an issue. Close to all amenities. Would recommend the Presentation House Theatre on Chesterfield and the Rusty Gull Pub on 2nd Ave. Both within walking distance.

Bait and switch

This is an ok place. But I choose it because it listed a 69dollar a night rate. However when I checked out it was well over 120 a night twice what I agreed to pay. The multiple non specifics taxes doubled the day rate. And the. The 30 a night for parking which was only mentioned when I checked out Waste of money.
