Nice place to stay

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: It's proximity to other amenities
Cons: Nothing that I can think of at this time.
Location: See notes above. Access to Grouse Mountain, Capilano and Lynn Valley easy to/from the bus terminal immediately adjacent to the hotel was great.
Nice and close to Seabus terminal, bus terminal immediately adjacent, local markets and eateries two floors below. Counter staff were helpful and pleasant.

Average, Unimpressive hotel

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Everything around the hotel including liquor stores and food markets close at 7pm. Hotel is nice but not terrific. Very uncomfortable bed. Staffing adequate but not very friendly and under trained. Rooms dingy and badly in need of renovation. Over priced for what you get.

Horrible experience, will not return

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Staff was ride, charged my credit for the damage deposit and it has still not been returned. They said the junior suite is worth the price and it definitely was not. No balcony, tight space, rude staff.

Great location in North Van

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Brilliant location right by the seabus that takes you to downtown. The hotel is above a magical artisan food and crafts market, which also houses the Greenleaf craft brewers with a selection of excellent ales (and a bar). The public bus station is close by where you can take a bus for $2.75 to Grouse Mountain (and do the grind :-) ). The hotel was great, especially after getting a good deal through Expedia. In fact I got an up grade when there to an exec. room with a stunning view of Vancouver. I had a week there and fell in love with Vancouver. The hotel I highly recommend.

Good price, location, but breakfast should be more variable. Next time I'll order this hotel without breakfast.

Location: seabus, Lonsdale market...great location

Good location right beside transit to downtown Van

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Cons: Queen size or King sized beds.
Said it was a queen size bed in the ad but only a double in the room. Other then that great experience for a reasonable price. Very close to the sea bus to get to downtown Vancouver and into Gastown. Plus the hotel is located on top of a market filled with caf├ęs, international food vendors and fresh fruit and vegetable shoppes. Had a great stay at Lonsdale Quay.

I was looking for a place close to the Quay.

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: The closeness to the Sea Bus and local transportation in West Vancouver.
Cons: I would update the rooms, at least in my section of the hotel.
Location: Steps away from the Sea Bus to Vancouver and the bus station for West North Vancouver and the surrounding area. Many markets, shops and restaurants.
It was a good deal for the price. I got my place close to the Quay with a bed and facilities. The room was clean and way from any noise, so I slept good. This is an older hotel and the part I was staying in has not been updated for a while, but they have more expensive rooms. It worked out just fine for me.
