Very nice hotel, would recommend it!Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: The location and the staff.
Cons: Add a couple more lounge chairs in the pool area.
Location: Location is excellent! the museum is right across the street, the mall and the Bay are on the next block. It's a short walk to the beach and Robson S
I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, right up to my late check-out. The restaurant Diva has a great "happy hour" from 3:00 - 6:00pm. All-in-all had a wonderful experience in this hotel and would certainly stay there again on my next trip to Vancouver.

Brilliant central location. Close to stations, seafront and tourist office. Lovely hotel, room kept immaculately. Pool, gym and whirlpool all clean and well looked after. Diva restaurant, although a little pricey does good, tasty and filling meals. Only criticism is lack of milk in room for tea, other than that a really good hotel in a great location.

Close to shopping, easy walk to train or waterfront. Great location Front desk staff not the best. Stood around waiting for someone to show up twice however concierge was very attentive and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful at their restaurant as was the service.

Not what i expectedPosted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: update and cleanliness.
Asked for a king size bed was given two singles and when i called front desk they said we did not ask for a king. They gave us a queen bed and the room was a dive old and smelled musty bathroom fan did not work we had a view of the ally and cement structure. Elevator took forever ,would not recommend the Metropolitian there are better hotels out there for the same money. Brian

Great downtown Vancouver hotelPosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Availability of toiletries and amenities in the room.
Cons: The elevators seemed pretty old - it was a little slow and my floor number didn't light up when I pressed the button...but that wasn't a major issue.
I made a last minute booking and stayed here for three nights on the week of Canada day. I had a great stay, and the location is very convenient with a nearby mall and two train stations nearby (Granville and Vancouver City Centre stations) and so many establishments to eat and drink and party.
