Easy access to downtown Vancouver

Location: Stanley Park, Vancouver Look out, Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge were all close by
We were pleased with our stay at this hotel. Easy to get to, and a quick drive to Stanley Park. Great price which included free wifi, breakfast and parking.

Good location, but difficult to turn in at times.

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Carpeting (replace it). Bed (replace it).
Location: Good spot to see anything on the North Shore and access to Vancouver is great.
Room smelled HEAVILY of cleaning/perfume products (gastly), very HEAVY smell!!! It took almost the whole stay to thin out. The place was decently clean but we almost packed up and left because of the heavy perfumed room. Staff didn't clean around the coffee pot and kept leaving us de-caf coffee and/or forgot to leave coffee at all. Basically just made the bed and left clean towels. Carpet was lumpy, REALLY lumpy!! Lumpy everywhere. A dirty spot on the bathroom floor was there for the full four days. Ok, so the shower was good, TV was fine., bed was just ok, (King size as promised) Building and paint are in bad shape. The headboard has an edge that is HORRIBLE, no amount of pillows could cover it enough to watch TV in comfort. Get rid of that headboard! Front end staff and in fact all staff were friendly and nice. Korean I think, very polite and decent people. Parking for a full-size pickup truck seemed a bit lacking, near our room (206). Parking sites are too short for a pickup truck, in most arrears. Add a multi-plug electrical outlet, so a person doesn't have to unplug a lamp or the clock radio to charge a phone, or run any other electrical appliance (Cpap machine).

Not far from the City of Vancouver

There are several bus stops within an extremely short walking distance to get you anywhere you need to visit. There are stops right outside the hotel itself to travel further into North Van. Traveling from YVR to the hotel was a breeze and didn't take long at all, maybe a half hour - forty minutes. I personally think the location couldn't be beat. There's a Tim Hortons around the corner, 10 minute walk - not even. There are plenty of stores west of the hotel, 20 minute walk. The staff was very helpful and courteous of my situation (checking in considerably late, I did notify them ahead of time though). I would stay here again.

ダウンタウンからは少し離れていますが、従業員の方も親切でとても快適に過ごすことができました。部屋も広くきれいでした。朝食の内容も満足のいくもので、しっかりしたホテルだと思います。

Great value with everything I need

I have stayed at the North several times. My son is in school in North Vancouver and I find the location, price, amenities, and free parking to be a perfect match for my needs. Last fall, I brought my parents, who are in their late 80s, to the hotel. We has 2 rooms on the ground floor. The convenient location meant that everyday we could come back for a nap. My father discovered a lovely walk by the Capilano River only two blocks away. Rooms are always clean and staff is courteous.

Pros: the stuff were ok not wonderful and hotel,s location was good.
Cons: breakfast was terrible! it was really not worth a penny.

Noisey bottom level.

If there are people staying in a room above you, it's very loud and you can hear their every footstep. Sound insulation between walls is somewhat poor as well, but not a big issue unless the people next door are loud talkers etc. Bed is on the firm side. Not bad for the price and location but I don't suggest for light sleepers.

Staff were very nice, but I was not impressed with the room. There was a definite musty smell as soon as you opened the door and the bathroom tub and shower condition were disgusting. Will never stay there again and could not get out fast enough

Convenient location to Ski areas

Pros: Included breakfast and close to Cypress Ski Area and Grouse Mountain.
Cons: Room AC
Location: Good for a family with a kid for enjoying nearby Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Better than expected with friendly staff at reception desk.

Pros: Parking car outside our room. Fridge and microwave. Not far out from things
Cons: Inside seating for breakfast or an extra chair in the rooms to eat there. Not to be so off when asked a simple request.
Location: Capillano suspension bridge and grouse mountain just up the road and easy to get to downtown Vancouver , Stanley park and lions gatebridge.
It wasn't a bad stay, we only did one night, both bathroom and bedroom are very clean, does have a bit of an 'old smell' but not to make a big deal out of. Is more like a motel, as its all in separate blocks, but that's not a bad thing as we were on the lower floor and was able to park our car right outside. Near road but can't hear it, good night sleep, I certainly feel you need a car with this place, things are close by but only made easier by having a car, seemed like a nice neighbourhood. Only concern was that when we arrived they wanted a card to put a charge over it (incase of damage I guess) which is fine but when I asked for a copy I was told a void receipt would be given to me on departure , when it came to departure I was then told I wouldn't get the void until it was cleaned (when I left) I'm currently traveling at the moment so it going to my home address or being chrged when I'm not able to sort as easy wasn't an option after persisting he went and checked and then voided. Seemed unhappy that we requested this, even though I was told I Would be given one. Breakfast was ok, the pancakes where nice but a hassel when it goes wrong/runs out, I don't understand why on earth they have only outside seating? And don't have the heaters on?! Well no one said there was indoor else where, but we took it back to our room, which wasn't a problem.
