Sleepy hotel in quiet North Van

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Safe neigbourhood, clean rooms, not loud, free breaky!
Cons: Indoor breakfast eating are for when it's cold out, more cable channels.
Location: Very close to Capilano Suspension Bridges, only a bus ride away. Stanley park and downtown are close as well, and two malls nearby with bars and food.
Vancouver hotels are generally overpriced, so to find good value is great. The only downside of this place was that it was in North Vancouver, which could be considered as a suburb I suppose. However; this is not much of a downside at all, you are still only a few minutes away from downtown, you are in a much safer and quieter neighbourhood, and you still have all the amentities around you. They had free breakfast in the morning which is always great, the pancake machine was broken one day but that was okay because they still had sausages and scrambled eggs. Would be nice if there was an indoor dining area for when it's colder, but not that big a problem. Was more like a motel than a hotel which is fine by me, for sure would stay there again if the price is right!

Our stay in North Van

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Location. price.
Cons: Breakfast area.
Location: We went to a concert downtown Vancouver.
The hotel was in a good location for us, included breakfast. I think the breakfast room should be larger, there was a bus load of people in the room when we were there so it was a tight squeeze. No inside tables, they were outside and the heaters weren't on. We took our breakfast to our room so had no interaction with others.

Nov 2014

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pool was closed for the season. Thermostat would not adjust - so room was quite hot and kept kicking in at night, even when we lowered. Staff was adequate... We required a boost to our car and they suggested we call a cab! And they couldn't be bothered to help directly or ask other guests. Location worked well for where we needed to be for the wknd - I don't imagine it would be that convenient for others.

Fulfills the objective

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: Location and reasonable price
Cons: It was a no-smoking room but the night table had several unsightly cigarette burns on the edge where some total jerk had left a burning butt.
I stayed there a couple of nights while visiting someone in West Van It is not a luxury hotel (actually it is a motel, not a hotel) but it was convenient and well run

Hard as Rock

There is a noisy road its a main artery for morning traffic. Beds are hard good for posture i guess. Cleaning staff do good with what they have older building and all. Good for short stay.

Comfortable hotel in North Van.

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Excellent housekeeping, great value with full breakfasts included.
Location: Rural feeling location although in North Van. Near the north end of Stanley Park and once through, to Greater Downtown Vancouver.
Fine basic hotel, good breakfasts, excellent housekeeping, friendly front counter staff, had the feel of being in the forest even though it was in town.

It's good clean hotel with helpful stuff, they can find solution for you. Breakfast area a bet small and two chines girl who serve this area a bet not human, sharp 9:30 juice machine was turned off and they start to take out all food coffee etc.. and we came about 9:00. Breakfast area a bet small but reception was nice she propose me to take breakfast to the room when area was busy by business meeting. Any way we had good expression on this place, and pleased for clean updated rooms with good cleaning service and good front desk stuff.
