Pros: They were very nice to my parents.
Cons: Softer pad for bed if it is to firm
Very nice staff and rooms. They aim to please. easy to find and close to the border. Lots of places to see and easy to get around.

Tried it won't go back.

Pros: Nice pool.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: You need a car.
Check in was painfully slow. Hall carpets are dirty. Vending machines did not dispense items or give correct change. Room door did not lock. Window did not close properly. Very long wait to get someone to bring towels for the pool. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Pros: The house keepers were very friendly and did a great job in cleaning the hotel room.
Cons: More supply of towels by the pool.
Location: You had to drive a long distance for the attractions.
The price is very good for our room. The only negative comment I would have to make is the front desk staff needed more training on customer service. The day staff was very condescending and was very unfriendly but the night staff was very helpful with what we needed. The lobby internet was down the last three times we had stayed there, and the printer would not print clearly.

Clean, Unique and Friendly Staff

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: indoor amenities and friendly staff
We were looking for a quick getaway for the weekend and saw this hotel online. Hot tub and pool were requirements. Although the indoor heated pool could have been warmer...much warmer, overall the facility was quite comfortable and clean. The girl at the front desk even went the extra mile and looked up a local Karaoke bar for us, complete with printed map. She even called ahead to be certain they were open. The next night she did the same for us for a local after hour food delivery. I'd highly recommend.

one night stay

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: pool, hot tub, gym, steam room, the interior design
Cons: needs renovations badly, the noise of the highway-needs better windows
Location: close to the border and White Rock; its on the highway, nothing to do within a walking distance, no where to walk at
It was a nice hotel with a great pool, hot tub, steam room and nice gym. The hotel and staff are very friendly. Its a nice hotel, but needs to be updated with some renovations. The bed was very comfortable. We rented two rooms and both were comfortable and clean. The shower took forever to drain; somewhat clogged. The hot tub was a good size and nice temperature kept; it was missing few tiles and some were broken. The swimming pool was nicely done and the kids had a great time. There is a security during the night, which is nice, but apparently you cant talk in the hallways. We were told to be quite; which I found weird as we spoke very softly and only few words. The hotel is done very appealing and something that you could find in Mexico. This hotel does not offer an inclusive breakfast; which we missed badly. The food was a bit over priced and not the best taste. The restaurant closes early in the evening and no coffee shop or bar to get drinks from; this is what my husband and I usually do at hotels, once the kids are settled into their rooms. The kids liked the hotel for their pool, gym and how cool the hotel looked like. It was a fun night for them. We wanted to extend our stay till noon and that was not an option. We found that strange, as the hotel was pretty empty.

Not too Bad

Posted Dec 28, 2014
As we only needed a room for one night and the only other hotel that was close to where we wanted to be was fully booked, we took a chance and booked at the Pacific Inn. I was very hesitant about this place, from all the negative comments I was expecting the worst ! Yes the hotel is run down, the front door is all beaten up, could use some TLC, you know, first impressions ! Public areas are ok, the carpets I think are not as old as the hotel ( 25 years ) but the pool and hot tub area which is bang in the middle of the hotel, looks old and pretty tired. I wouldn't be bringing my swimsuit, but some kids were having a good time ! We were in room 226, which overlooks the car park, I think it had been updated , it was large, clean and the bed very comfy, bathroom area was also fine. Had a small fridge and coffee machine. We had breakfast included, which only added $12 to our room rate. Order the bacon, not the sausage. The staff were very pleasent in the restaurant ! Over all, yes we would stay again if only for one night and I would ask for the same room.

The hotel has been well used and needs renovation.

The rooms are very worn and show signs of the need for a major renovation

Convenient location.

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Upkeep and renovations.
Location: If you are Canadian using your cell phone, it is likely you will pick up a US signal as the Cdn towers are further away than US ones.
Stayed here for 1 night pre Christmas. The hotel has seen better days. The owners have not spent needed money on minor repairs and upkeep. What could have been done for little money some time ago has mushroomed into a need to spend serious money on a lot of minor repairs as they are about to become major renovations needed! There were even holes in the curtains, so they must have been noticed by now. Paint touch up has become a need for several areas needing new coats of paint. On the plus side the Lobby is attractive and there is a nice sized indoor pool which many rooms overlook. The Desk clerks are friendly as was our Waitress in the restaurant. Do not sit at one of the booths as the table is too high for the seating, and I am over 6 foot tall! I had the breakfast buffet, which was alright but overpriced for what was there. This hotel has a lot of potential but it would appear the current owners do not care.

excellent spot for breakfast

Pros: Located near my Mom's apartment in Surrey.
Cons: Shower stall needed replacing - old tiles with dirty grout. Otherwise the room was great.
We enjoyed four mornings in the hotel restaurant, which is overlooking the pool deck. Jean P treated us just like old friends and served us delicious breakfasts.

OK for a very basic place to stay

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Room was huge but freezing. Single baseboard heater couldn't keep up. Cleanliness ok but very worn out place. Bed was decent. Lots of hot water. Pool very chilly & hot tub not working. Restaurant not great...served my two year olds orange juice in a wine glass like ours...guess where it ended up! With a broken glass of course. Service in restaurant mediocre, rest was ok. For the price of 89 per night we were ok with it but didn't use the restaurant after first time. Great ABC just down the road with way better breakfast!
