Stunning...

Posted Jul 1, 2015
One of the purposes of my staying at the Pan was to replicate, in a fashion, the view I had from my apartment when I lived in Vancouver 25 years ago. This was superbly fulfilled. There were 3 other reasons/ celebrations/ anniversaries that were marked by this visit -- and the Pan was VERY gracious in accommodating and recognizing all. My partner and I could not be happier with our stay at the Pan Pacific.

The Pan Pacific exceeded our expectations. I called from Florida as I was planning our Alaska cruise and was unsure where to stay and how to get to everything. They assured me it was very convenient to stay with them. They were right! They took care of everything and the hotel and room were beautiful! Couldn't have been more happy.

Locked out of our room!!!!

Posted Jun 16, 2015
We stayed for 4 nights and after a long tiring hiking day we come back to the room at 6pm, our last night, and the key had locked us out!!! Luckily we had two rooms so we called from that room and asked what happened! They explained the key was mis mis programmed. Then when we finally were able to get into the room which by he way has our belongings spread out. Once inside we see a note with a gift welcoming the new guests to Vancouver! Did they rebook the room????after speaking to the manager we found out they offer a gift every third day of stay and they had left the wrong note! Needless to say it left a bad taste in our mouth for the pan pacific crew. After spending some $450/night per room!!!

Honeymoon Destination

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Location: Gastown is a great area for food and drinks. There is lots of shopping near by within walking distance.
Vancouver was our Honeymoon destination and we chose Pan Pacific. We had a great time! The hotel is located right on the water and if you get a Harbour View room like we did, you'll be able to see Stanely Park, the mountains north of the city, and sea planes taking off and landing out in the water... all from your room window. There was a beautiful sunset each night as well which was awesome. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. One draw back may be the times that a cruise ship (or 3) are docked. That immediately increases the foot traffic right outside of the entrance. Restaurants, pubs, shopping are all within walking distance.
