Fabulous harbour views

Posted Sep 16, 2014
A really clean and luxurious hotel. The balcony was very small and didn't have any furniture but I'm sure the hotel would bring up a couple of chairs if requested. The reception staff were excellent and there was entertainment every night. The location is right next to the sea bus which is very handy for trouble free travel to Downtown. Lonsdale Avenue has plenty of restaurants and excellent shopping facilities.

Pillow Palace

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Location: Location is great because it is close to the Seabus to downtown. Excellent place to stay for hockey games, concerts and anything else you want to do.
Love the place. Love the pillows, the room, the amenities, location and the staff. Not much else to add.

Gorgeous view and the decor impeccable

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Location, view, decor
Cons: Bathroom vanity had no place to put your toiletries
Location: The Quay, Friday market, restaurants
So nice to sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. Then a short walk takes you to any food imaginable.

Overall great experience.

The hotel is very clean. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The location is terrific. The Pier Market,a trendy market is close and a variety of nice restaurants are within walking distance. The proximity to the Sea Bus ferrie to get to downtown Vancouver and Gastown is a great feature. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel on the Pier with terrible view.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The very short walking distance to nice patio style restaurants and the waterfront marketplace.
Location: About the only thing we found to do was go walking... uphill streets and around the indoor marketplace. There is a lot of traffic and congestion.
This hotel boasts a balcony view of the pier but it is only a step-out balcony... no room for chairs. Although you see larger balconies on the building, those are residential condos. The Pier view is of tanker ships and rusted out shipping materials. The parking is $14.00/night.

Perfect location

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Clean, clean, clean.
Cons: wifi.
Location: Restaurants, shopping, Seabus
Great setting, beside the Seabus and Lonsdale Quay. Only one issue and that was poor Wifi service in the room. Other than that our stay was excellent. The cleanliness of the facility is way above any hotel that we have ever stayed in. We loved it.

Dogs and people share bedrooms!,

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The cleaning and carrying staff were very friendly and polite and helpful.
Cons: No dogs!
This hotel does not explain that they have many dogs staying there on an equal footing with humans. . As a result you may find you are on the fourth floor where I discovered they tend to put most dogs! Walking past a door with my walking stick I was attacked and barked at angrily by a dog which shot out of a room. I would have fallen over if I did not have my husband to rely on. A thoroughly unpleasant stay as a result. The woman at the desk pretended they put them all over but three members of staff unwittingly told me the truth. They put them on the fourth floor. So why was I , a disabled person who clearly had no dog, put on this level? It felt like an upmarket dog kennel where I was staying. I would not recommend this place at all.
