Amazing hotel for the price!

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Beautifully decorated, nice location in North Van.
Location: We were specifically there for a show and didn't see much to do for shopping but we also are not familiar to the area and were only there a short time
The hotel was beautiful and service was great. Stayed there for a concert, and had a great meal at pier 7 right by the hotel. It's too bad there is not more to do right around the hotel (shopping) but it is close to a movie theatre and more restaurants and bars than you could visit.

Great value for convenience to downtown Vancouver

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Spacious, comfy room; free and WELL-FUNCTIONING Wifi; outstanding swimming pool and fitness facilities; nice bar w. good food; helpful friendly staff.
Cons: Hmm. Not much. Maybe don't tuck the beds in so ferociously tight.
Location: Handy to Seabus (to everywhere) plus Lonsdale Quay Market, which is worth exploring for the better part of a day.
Visiting family in North Van so love the location -- adjacent to Seabus to downtown, but also North Van amenities and transport. 4-star hotels in downtown Vancouver are ridiculously overpriced; the Pinnacle is comparable quality and 10 minutes from downtown by Seabus. We always stay here and have never been disappointed with anything.

New hotel with some area issues.

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Views of the harbour
Location: Ferry to downtown is within minutes and some new local places.
Hotel is located in a new area so it's very nice. There is construction and shipyard noise in the mornings due to its location though. Downstairs restaurant is good but a bit pricey for what you get.

Great location on the North Shore

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Public transportation is easily accessible. Not a problem to get to downtown Vancouver, West Vancouver, Horseshoe Bay, Lynn Valley, Deep Cove, etc.
Location: The location is excellent. There are plenty of businesses nearby: Lonsdale Quay Market, restaurants, pharmacy, Cinema, Tim Horton's and Liquor Store!
I have stayed several times at The Pinnacle in recent years during visits to Vancouver. The location is great, the staff is pleasant, the food at the restaurant is very good. I also like the hotel's security and the fantastic view, if staying in a room facing the Burrard Inlet. The rooms are well equipped. Having the coffee supplies and the little fridge (not filled up with hotel's drinks), are pleasant conveniences. Free wireless Internet is also a plus. Getting to this hotel requires crossing from downtown Vancouver to the North Shore; the ride on the SeaBus is a delight and the hotel is very close to the terminal on Lonsdale Quay.

Best Rest and Relaxing Hotel

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: More quiet in North Vancouver than Vancouver, location is great, the pool large
Cons: Hopefully some of the construction property between hotel and the water will be done soon or turned into some sort of public parks.
Location: location is by the the water, quiet, near shops and varity of restaurants near by too
First time staying on the North side of Vancouver and loved it. The Pinnacle Hotel has it all, nice rooms, view, quiet, near the water, best pool ever and by the Lonsdale Market and other shops. Plan to come here next year and probably all the next times

Nice hotel with GREAT restaurants close by!

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, Nice Views of Downtown.
Location: The Markeplace is close by with tons of shopping, food, etc... There are also 3 great restaurants within walking distance that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle. The staff was friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us get checked in early after a very long day of traveling. The hotel is a little further from downtown Vancouver than I would have liked but it was worth it since the views from the hotel were outstanding. (pay extra for the harbor view, it's worth it!) The hotel itself was nicely appointed with spacious, clean rooms and my favorite feature was FREE access to the business center to print out my airline boarding passes. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel!

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The staff, the size of the rooms, the comfort, and the cleanliness are all five star!
This hotel was perfect in every way for my business trip. It is in North Vancouver so if you want to be close to the night life you should stay in Vancouver. There is a fabulous transportation system (train/sea bus) servicing this hotel. It is easy to use, very efficient, and it takes you directly from the airport to the hotel.

Great celebration with extras

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: location, condition, size of room, comfort
Cons: turn on the sauna by 7 am
Location: Easy access to the city, some very high quality restaurants within walking distance, easy access to the highway to Whistler as well.
Loved the location on the Esplanade - food trucks, live music, farmer's market, other cafe's and an amazing view across the water of the main city. Easy water bus (not exotic and a little stuffy) to the city running frequently and inexpensive. Hotel staff were very good to us, including a few extras for our anniversary, like chocolate covered strawberries, and helping park our over-height vehicle in the garage. There were no glitches. Good steam room, sauna, hot tub and pool. Nice mini-balcony to take in the fresh air. Super comfy bed. Will recommend to colleagues who go to Vancouver frequently.
