Very good location. You can take a seabus directly to Vancouver DT. Definitely a 4 star hotel. Will stay again.

Fare price with perfect view. If you tried it, you would love it. Don't judge it before you stay there.

Away from the Madding Crowd in Vancouver

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Lovely large room, with a view of the water..
Cons: Have a list of restaurants nearby, other than at the hotel....
Location: Use the ferry, walk around the streets, take the public buses to Capilano and Grouse Mountain
The hotel is in North Vancouver, a short ferry ride from Vancouver, get the all day ticket and you can ride any of the public conveyances for the same fare, but if you get two one way tickets be aware, you must use the second within 90 minutes of the first. In North Vancouver, use the public bus to get to Capilano State Park and Grouse Mountain. The hotel is quite lovely, but don't be surprised that the bathroom has a glass wall into the bedroom, with blinds, but still a glass wall. Plan to eat at the Landsdown Quay, there is a great choice of breakfast and snack places.

Ok hotel

While the hotel appears very nice in pictures, the property sits extremely close to shipyard snd is an active dock. The room view was obstructed by a large crane and morning noise was annoying. There is construction of restaurant directly outside the front door of the hotel. While the hotel itself was average, the disappointment of the location and lack of a beautiful view was extremely disappointing. I would not stay at this property in the future because of the location. The hotel staff were kind and professional.

Great hotel by harbour

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Clean, good location, nice workout room and pool.
Location: The Sea Taxi is a block away, the Lonsdale market is a block away, plus several restaurants, liquor store, grocery store, Shoppers etc.... Pretty area
Although we had to commute back and forth over the bridges it was nice to stay away from the busyness of downtown. The Sea Taxi is a block away, the Lonsdale market is a block away, plus several restaurants, liquor store, grocery store, Shoppers etc.... Pretty area and always fun to watch boats on the water. 10 mins away is a mall called Park Royal and it was such a neat area of shopping and restaurants etc... Capilano suspension bridge is close by and that's worth checking out. Beautiful park.

Good location

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Location, clean.
Cons: Nothing but choose room location wisely
Location: Many restaurants nearby. Good walking surrounds.
Located next to bay. Very friendly, efficient staff. Would recommend bay side rooms as the street side is very noisy with buses and motor bikes especially at night.

At the Women's World Cup

Pros: the staff
Cons: none
Location: Downtown Vancouver is nearby and a Public Market is two blocks away.
Hotel staff was very accommodating and helped with all questions. Would like to get the water view next time and it is so convenient to take the water taxi to downtown Vancouver and not put up with the traffic involved with the city.
