Nice hotel but bad parking situation

Pros: Pool
Cons: Valet parking
Difficult to locate parking facilities; limited directions and no where to stop/park/unload and then get keys, which are required to enter the hotel parking area. Not a great area of Vancouver.

For future reference, there are parking signs with direction arrows at our entrance, and there are designated guest check in parking spots in our driveway as well. I wasn't expecting much when booking this hotel for a short business trip. However, the staff, room appointments, location, and overall quality of this property were great. Also, I stayed two additional nights in the city at two different hotels, one of which considers itself higher end (rhymes with mutton space), and the overall experience at this Marriott property was far and away superior--and cheaper.

Pros: the rooms, the facilities, the breakfast and the location
Cons: nothing
Location: lot of restaurants nearby only a few blocks you have granville street with all the pubs and night life
great! very nice location, with lot of restaurants and pubs nearby, great breakfast and rooms.

Self contained splendour

Pros: Location and room styling. Self contained option. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Granville Island markets, Davie St restaurants.
Great location, walking distance to many Vancouver sights. Very nice, modern rooms.

Great place for families

Comfortable, clean and bright. Good breakfast buffet. Nice rooms. Neighborhood is redeveloping but the location is convenient. We enjoyed our stay - my kids are looking forward to a return visit.

Hotel is a little old, but the rooms are awesome!

The hotel is a little outdated, but the rooms have been remodeled and are really nice! Location is fantastic, as well. Wasn't able to get to the Continental breakfast, but the fact that they have one is nice. Free coffee essentially 24 hours. And free Wi-Fi. Late checkout option until 1pm. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.
