Nice hotel with kitchen

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Kitchen and convenient location and decent price.
Cons: At least change towels and clean room after 3 days
Location: Restaurants, theaters , cinemas, grocery stores, stadium, beach and train (subway) .
Everything is good, except that they don't clean your room or change towels during your stay. But you can ask for clean towels. Convenient with a kitchen and cookware. There is construction going on next block, so it is noisy during the day, if window is open.

Could've been worse

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Nice room. Well furnished. Good continental breakfast too.
Cons: Fix the fridge door. Put new batteries in the remote controls, and have the maids check the batteries when they're turning the rooms over.
Location: Great location. Easy walking to every part of town.
The condos are conveniently located. We walked everywhere, from Chinatown to Stanley Park, across to Granville Island and back through Yaletown, and it was an easy hike. The room was nice, aside from a mini-fridge that was so hard to open that we literally dragged it across the floor on several occasions just by pulling on the handle. There was also heaps of garbage piled in the stairwells that looked like they'd been there for quite some time, and the stairwells also reeked of restaurant cooking, even though when we were there, there was no restaurant on site. The front desk clerk neglected to mention that there was a $16.00 per day parking fee when he handed me the parking pass, and I didn't find out about the fee until I spoke to a different clerk the next day. They also tell you that the parking garage is monitored several times each day, but I went down to my vehicle about seven times during the three days we were there and I never saw anyone patrolling the garage, and I didn't see any security cameras either. This is a legitimate concern because the parking garage is wide-open, no gates, and is located just off of the alley. If you're familiar with Vancouver then you know that the alley's are usually an active location for the city's transient population. Thankfully I didn't experience any issues with my new vehicle while it was parked in the garage.

Hotel near Robson

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Chose this hotel as it is located very close to Robson street. Have got new towels only in the first night of stay. Glasses and amenities were cleaned only the first day as same as the towels mentioned earlier. Room rate is a bit more expensive as it should be. Hence, I expect cleanliness and convenience in return . It is really the condominium concept.

Terrible parking

Posted Jun 10, 2015
During my stay my vehicle was broken into in underground parking and between having to replace broken windows and personal items my costs were around $1000.00 so I was not very happy

Great location for seeing the city.

Posted Jun 5, 2015
We have stayed here before using our timeshare points. This time I booked through Expedia for 3 nights. Be aware if you book the Rosedale Condominiums you are booked into timeshare units that are nice but you DO NOT get daily maid service & not even toiletries. Bring your own shampoo!

Passable hotel in Vancouver

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Centrally located to downtown Vancouver so everything is accessible, short cab ride or walk away. Kitchen area a plus. OK for 4 adults & 2 kids.
Cons: Luggage left in lobby instead of locked up; only 1 small trash can; trash not removed daily; pool closed mid-day; internet kept dropping.
Location: Central location so restaurant options abundant; movie theaters 6 blocks, tour bus pick up 2 blocks away. Took 3 cab rides and all under $10.00 fares
We arrived in Vancouver in the morning from a cruise and got to the hotel about 9:00 am. They took our luggage while we toured the city on Day One, we checked into our room about 6:00 pm. Day Two we relaxed around the hotel area, taking an afternoon jaunt to Granville Island.

Great centrally-located Vancouver hotel

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: see above.
Cons: see above.
Location: see above.
This hotel is in a great location if you plan to see most of Vancouver, we walked to most locations- Stanley Park, Waterfront, Granville Island. The Pool/Jacuzzi were very much appreciated after all that walking. The only issues I had with this hotel were: (1) Our room was right next to a janitorial closet and they were not considerate with the noise at all ...talking loudly early in the morning. (2) The bathroom is very small ...tight fit.

Handy downtown location

Super clean and awesome staff! We never go anywhere else! Close to Yaletown (lots of awesome food there) and both arenas.
