Comfortable quiet hotel in great location

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The location is fantastic and it seemed very clean and well maintained.
Location: There are blocks of good restaurants on Hamilton Street as well as the next street. Robson shopping starts half a block away and the seawall is close
We spent three nights and were very happy with the location of the hotel between downtown and Yaletown. There are lots of things to do nearby and lots of very good restaurants also. The suite we stayed in was very quiet and although the rooms were not very large, they were set up well and were fine for the two of us. There was also a very functional kitchen set-up which we used a lot and very much enjoyed having.

Great hotel!

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Having a suite was great, like having two separate bedrooms! Very comfy bed and pillows, everything very clean. Very nice to have decaf coffee choice!
First overnight stay in Vancouver; asked for - and received - a room on an upper floor with a great view of the city! Easy walk to shopping and dinning. Half the parking prices of other downtown hotels. We would be happy to stay here again!

Rosedale on Robson

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Location was excellent. It's an older hotel, but the street noise was minimal and the rooms were clean and comfy!
What a great location for events in Vancouver. Just a few blocks to walk to BC Place or Roger's Arena for games or concerts. Located on the corner of Robson Street and Hamilton, so shopping and restaurants are right there!! We took transit from the BC Ferries in HorshoeBay to downtown and it was a 45 min ride that dropped us off 3 blocks to the Rosedale. We have just found our new favorite place to stay while in Vancouver!

not terrible, not great, clean room, expensive parking, no security provided for cars or valuables, indifferent staff, are they underpaid?

What a surprise!

Posted Jan 9, 2015
We were surprised at the size and affordability of the room. $136 with tax in Vancouver is usually a dump but this was cool! Even a small kitchen. With oven, cook top, plates, cutlery, everything to cook! Whe most Hotels call it a suiet is normally just a hotel room. This was like a one bedroom apartment! We looked at the price for this summer but the price jumps to $350 per night! Too right for our blood!
