My favourite hotel in VancouvetPosted Oct 19, 2014
I've been staying at the Rosedale on my trips to Vancouver for 6 years now. Occasionally I try another but I have always come back to the Rosedale. The location is perfect, the staff are both professional and friendly and the rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean.

Nice hotel, good location for public transportPosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Good location, helpful staff and room cleaniness
Location: Is in Downtown Vancouver, very near the Stadium, Chinatown, Gas Town, shopping mall and Food Courts and restaurants.
Enjoyed our stay there. Clean room and helpful staff. Good location and very convenient for public transport to get around town. Good public transport to get around sightseeing and very reasonable day pass.

dissappointingPosted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: room and bed comfortable
Cons: see above. Wifi should be boosted...no reception in our room. long waits for elevators!
Location: the party we attended was easy walking distance
booked online for three adults and was charged extra for the third adult. No extra towels for third adult. Poor directions to hotel online [and we were walking from the sky train station] finally arrived after 2 pm and told our check in wasn't until 4pm!!! Ridiculous. Gym far to exposed...I don't enjoy being watched as I excercise!

Vancouver stopoverPosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities, the spacious corner suite we booked.
Cons: Perhaps lighten the decor of the restaurant so it is not so oppressive appearing and faster service would be great.
Location: A good halfway point between Canada Place, Waterfront, Granville Island and the amazing shopping.
We stayed at this hotel for the first time and hope it will not be the last. It was excellent in every respect and we are very pleased we opted to stay in the centre of the city and chose this hotel. It was probably our favourite out of all the hotels we stayed in during our 9 weeks on holiday. Could not fault this hotel.

Great Hotel in a Great LocationPosted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Convenience and also the availability of a nice sitting area with a kitchenette for coffee or making a light breakfast, snack etc.
Location: Gas Town, Stanley Park, Yaletown and walking distance to catch the ferry to Grandville Island.
Loved the location of the hotel, great for walking around the city. The hotel itself was very nice and the restaurant was handy with a good assortment of options for all meals. We will definitely stay here again.

Pleased with our stayPosted Sep 18, 2014
Cons: One thing we did find is that the elevators were a bit slow to get and often full.
Our stay was very comfortable. The kitchenette with microwave, oven, range, bar fridge and sink was a huge plus. The room was a good size with a sitting room. It is nice and close to a number of restaurants, stores and even BC place (shoppers drug mart is very close, 7 eleven is across the street and there is a 24 hour McDonalds literally a one minute walk).

Wonderful accommodation in VancouverPosted Sep 18, 2014
Location: Downtown Vancouver location, close to BC place and Rogers Arena also other downtown attractions are within either walking distance or short bus ride.
We stayed there to attend a concert at Rogers arena, the location was excellent. Hotel room was clean, comfortable, very quiet and more than adequate for our needs. Close to all the downtown attractions and has a good restaurant on site. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay there again. we would recommend it highly.

Great location but needs an updatePosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: More staff in Rosie's bar after a lions game and a concert. Service was slow and very poor.
Location: Excellent location and satisfactory room accomodations.
Excellent check in. Fast and efficient. Room ready before checkin time. Staff friendly. However the hotel's lobby had a very strong unpleasing air freshiner scent. Smelled like they were trying to cover up a stinky public toilet. Room was very clean but old. Beds were comfortable but second bed located too close to window. Bathroom was updated and very clean. I would rate the hotel a three star
