Pleased with our stay

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Cons: One thing we did find is that the elevators were a bit slow to get and often full.
Our stay was very comfortable. The kitchenette with microwave, oven, range, bar fridge and sink was a huge plus. The room was a good size with a sitting room. It is nice and close to a number of restaurants, stores and even BC place (shoppers drug mart is very close, 7 eleven is across the street and there is a 24 hour McDonalds literally a one minute walk).

Great location but needs an update

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: More staff in Rosie's bar after a lions game and a concert. Service was slow and very poor.
Location: Excellent location and satisfactory room accomodations.
Excellent check in. Fast and efficient. Room ready before checkin time. Staff friendly. However the hotel's lobby had a very strong unpleasing air freshiner scent. Smelled like they were trying to cover up a stinky public toilet. Room was very clean but old. Beds were comfortable but second bed located too close to window. Bathroom was updated and very clean. I would rate the hotel a three star

Pros: Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean, enjoyed having a kitchen and a patio.
Location: Good location. Close to BC Place, Roger's Arena and lots of shopping.
We stayed one night to see a concert at Roger's arena, it was a very pleasant experience. I would stay here again.

Easy access to Rogers arena

Took my children to the Katy Perry concert. We were able to check in early and they upgraded our room for free. The kids loved the pool area which was very clean as well as the room. Walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants . It was a wonderful experience all around and we will definatly stay again as well as recommend to friends and family

Ehhh!

Pros: Free cookies at front desk.
Cons: Yes...yes...yes!
Location: Location is very acceptable.
Over rated....a few quirks that should not happen when you're paying the high rate. Restricted wi-fi. Had to ask for additional towels everyday and the washer/dryer ruined out clothes.

Will definitely go back!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! The room was very clean and comfortable. My husband snores so when we were upgraded to a bedroom with a living room/sofa bed, it was perfect. I was able to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable sleep on the sofa bed and he behind closed doors! The hotel staff was very friendly and looked after all our needs. I forgot my phone charger and within a day they hotel had it recovered and shipped to my home address. Perfect walking distance to BC Place and close to all amenities. We will definitely go back! Thanks to all the staff!

Great location.

Pros: The location.
Cons: The staff in the breakfast area not very welcoming.
Location: Right on Robson, down town near the Art Gallery, close to Stanley Park and Granville Island. Would also be awesome if going to a sports/concert event
We were showing guests from California around Vancouver. We found the hotel well located, clean with a great price. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating.

Great Location for Families

Posted Sep 1, 2014
The hotel is located in the heart of the city. The Colisseum-like Central Library is across the street. We walked to Chinatown easily and also took the bus to Stanley Park. The hotel is a little worn and dated, and some staff are obviously lacking energy. There was a tray of room service outside the door near ours and it sat there for a whole day. Our 2-bdrm suite was very comfortable and clean, with great city views. The kitchenette is perfectly adequate with all supplies, there is even a small oven. The sitting area is an odd shape and the sofa bed needed to be moved in order to fully unfold. Still, quite comfortable for our family. Lots of restaurants near by for take-outs. There is also a 7-Eleven across the street. The worse part was the elevator. We must have waited a good 20 min with our luggage for check-out.
