Lovely hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Great, comfortable hotel. Luxurious room, however TV reception and complimentary wifi leave much to be desired. Staff are lovely and always made you feel welcome.

Elegant, restrained…gracious!

We spent our first 3 nights in Vancouver at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and we could not have made a better choice. From the Front Desk staff, to the Concierge, technical and cleaning staff, the pool and Spa staff, and the lounge/bar dining staff, it was perfection! We took a small break to vacate our very hectic lives, and the room, itself, was like a lovely, remote island, with utter quiet, privacy and repose. Each and every staff member was was so gracious and generous in their warmth and attention to detail. And, their recommendations for restaurants, walks, museums, etc. were spot on! We will most definitely, and happily, return!! Thank you to the staff, for their every kindness!

Fantastic service, rooms were spacious and had top level appointments, from the Nespresso coffee machine to the comfortable bed and huge shower. I was there fro a two conference and the lunch provided was excellent with plenty of choices for me to eat (I'm Vegan).

Pampered like royalty

Pros: The bathroom had a heated tile floor, separate vanity areas for two; a gigantic shower with a "rainforest head" and a bathtub sized for two.
Cons: A luxury bathroom, but the toilet sits inside a (merely semi-private) frosted glass booth. The heated floor quickly became overbearing in there.
Location: The hotel is within easy walking distance of Robson Street (retail mecca), Pacific Centre (VERY high end retail), and the Vancouver Art Museum.
I have traveled to five continents on business, and this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The accommodations are on par with any place you can name. The service from the staff is, on a scale of 1 to 5, about a 15: proactive, smart, and wholehearted. The combination makes Rosewood Hotel Georgia enchanting. My wife and I stayed three nights to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. I mentioned it in small talk while checking in. After we went to our room and were unpacking, within 40 minutes, champagne and candies showed up -- compliments of the hotel. These kinds of grace notes characterized everything from room service to turn down service to simply asking the valet for driving directions: every task, no matter how mundane, was executed with an elegant touch. (For example, after the valet gave me driving directions, he magically produced two bottles of water and asked if my wife and I would like water for our trip.) The restaurant and bar in the hotel are both top-notch, well worth their expensive prices. Both created imaginative combinations of flavors I'd never had, yet they worked (e.g., the bartender put rosemary in my rye old fashioned... delicious! A jus made from a berry I've never heard of, with the duck breast... inspired!) We will make up excuses to visit Vancouver again, just so we can stay in this hotel.
