Great hotel - bad barPosted Apr 16, 2014
Hotel staff and room were great. Bar experience was terrible. Inexperienced staff seated tables of name droppers vs. myself and fiancée even though we were hotel guests!

Very Nice Stay. Great Location. Professional StaffPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Pros included large bathrooms, seperate bath tubs and showers, comfortable bed, professional front desk and cleaning staff. Nice restaurant and pool.
Cons: Bose music player is dated. Very noisy at night if facing outdoor lounge. No drawers or armoir in room. Rooms are very small. Big service charges.
Location: Excellent downtown location. Close to Stanley Park, Canada Place, Robson street and downtown shopping and amazing restaurants. Close to Skytrain!
Flew into Vancouver for two nights (weekend) and stayed in this wonderful hotel. Easy to find and walk to from Vancouver City Centre Skytrain station. Great for air travellers who do not want (or need to) rent a car. Very clean and renovated hotel. Very professional staff and expensive and modern art with that touch of contemporary feel. Excellent location in the heart of downtown and close to Robson and the tons of other great things to do downtown Vancouver. Only a few blocks from Canada Place and the waterfront! Overall I was very impressed and would stay here again!

Fantastic experiencePosted Apr 7, 2014
Location: Stanley Park is wonderful (stop by the Teahouse for a nice lunch).
My wife and I traveled up from Seattle for our anniversary. The entire experience (room, spa and staff) was exemplary. This the best hotel experience I've had to date and I'm a fairly experienced traveler. As an off hand comment we mentioned to the front desk staff that we were up for an anniversary. Upon coming back to the room that afternoon the staff had provided a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit with a handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary. We had dinner that night at Hawksworth and again, the food and service were superb. We won't stay anywhere else when we're in Vancouver.

Excellent Stay!Posted Mar 31, 2014
Cons: Front desk staff should not try to up-sell you on other rooms available
Location: Downtown Vancouver
We had a very enjoyable stay at this opulant hotel. In-floor heating in the bathroom was a nice luxury, as were the modern control switches for all the lights in the room (which also allowed you to press a button to indicate that you wanted privacy in your room or wanted the room to be made up). The 4 adjustable rain shower heads in the ceiling of the shower were great and high enough for my tall husband. The staff in the Prohibition Lounge where we had cocktails and dessert were a delight. We will definitely stay here again!

Luxurious Accommodations in a Great LocationPosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Luxurious linens and an amazing bath tub.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of...
Location: Close to the Canada Line stop at Vancouver Centre. You can walk almost anywhere from this centrally located gem of a hotel.
The Rosewood Hotel Georgia is a throw back to the grand hotels of the past. Impeccably appointed with quality furnishings and luxurious Italian bed linens by Pratesi make for an incredibly comfortable and elegant experience. The a soothing soak in the bath tub alone is worth every penny. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on the 7th floor. We cannot wait to return to Vancouver and the Rosewood is definitely our new hotel of choice when visiting YVR.

5 star luxury right down to the last detailPosted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: ~great downtown location close to everything; BEAUTIFUL,LUXURIOUS HOTEL: friendly, professional, knowledgable, staff, great spa,AWESOME SOAKER TUBS
Cons: maybe slightly lower priced items in the minibar-but you are definitely paying for the convince and luxury so we didn't have an actual issue with it
Location: Great downtown locations within walking distance to :Granville,Robson,Burrard,Davie etc,Beach,Canada Place,Stanley Park,Shopping,Nightlife,Art Gallery
After staying in several gorgeous hotels in downtown Vancouver we decided to give the Rosewood a try and are we ever glad we did!!! Everything was impeccable from the moment we walked through the door. Make sure to get a soaker tub in your room in the beautiful spa inspired bathroom you'll be glad you did. Speaking of spas-6 hours spent being pampered in Sense-the onsite spa was luxurious with amazing staff and treatments. The hotels restaurant was outstanding as was the Prohibition lounge. The only downside was that the outdoor patio lounge was closed for the season-and with our busy schedules we didn't have a chance to check out the absolutely stunning saltwater pool-these 2 reasons alone if not for all of the above definitely means we will be returning. An added bonus? The hotel held onto our luggage after we checked out allowing us to explore downtown before our flight later that night. All in all an outstanding stay-Thank you Rosewood Hotel Georgia!
