Close to concert venue-BC Place and Canada Place

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: location! close to Neil Diamond concert and hotel pick up for Steveston Whale watching tour.
Cons: fix the squeaky door!
Location: close to gas town, Chinatown, Robson St, BC Place and Canada Place, cruise terminal..it's all right within a few blocks.
Stayed May 6 & 7, 2015. 7th floor room close to elevator and ice machine, which actually wasn't a problem. Ice machine shuts off at 10pm. The doors seem thin, so could hear everyone that went by. Bathroom door had a haunted house squeak to it!

The location and the price were the selling point on this hotel. Also staff is very friendly. Double beds felt small when most hotels have queens but they were comfortable.

The hotel was really close to our conference venue, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable; however, our toilet was plugged when we arrived late in the evening. We called the front desk at 11:15 and ask if they could send somebody with a plunger and they said they would send somebody right away. They still hadn't sent anyone by 11:45. We called back and the new person at the front desk wasn't aware of the situation. We requested that they deal with it in the morning since we had to be up early the next morning and didn't want to wait anymore. In the morning, we used the toilet in the restaurant. When we came back in the afternoon to pick up our bags and check out, someone had some and left a wet and dirty mess all over the bathroom floor. It was disgusting. I think this was just a one off, so I would most likely stay there again but I wasn't impressed with the service of the staff. Otherwise, it was great!

Good location.

Pros: Location.
Location: Location is great. Very close to the Arena and a close walk to Granville Street.
Experience was good! Great location for what I was there for. Room was clean and staff was great. Only issue some may have is the noise you can hear from the hallway in the room but that did not bother me.

Easy Access Hotel

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: I thought the parking was quite expensive, but maybe this is "par" for Vancouver. Being from out of town I am not familiar with Vancouver rates.
Location: The hotel , located within easy walking distance of downtown shops, reatuarants , the Queen "E" and B.C. Place, has a great location.
We were there one night while attending the Queen "E" Theatre. The hotel is right accross the street from the theatre. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations and is now modern and clean. The access from the TCH was very easy . Moxie's Restaurant on the premise had good service and reasonable food. Our room on the 11th floor had a fine view of the North Shore Mountains. The beds were comfortable, everything was very new & clean. The foyer is bright & clean. We were welcomed by a pleasant clerk who looked up & gave us needed information about road conditions as we left to go home to kamloops.

My room was the size of a broom closet!

Posted Apr 17, 2015
It took a minimum of 5 mins b4 the hot water kicked in in the shower, the drain in the tub was plugged and my knees were against the wall while I sat on the toilet the bathroom because it was so small, and housekeeping knocked on the door and proceeded enter the room at 830am after I had been at a concert all night, parking was $26 a day and the wait for the slowest elevators in the city was horrible, but it was affordable and the closets hotel to Rogers arena but will prolly try the hamptons next door next time.
