I would come back

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: We went to their restaurant one evening, which i can recommend.
Cons: The elevators of the building are horrible; they take forever or just don't come at all; one time we took the staircase down from the 21 st floor afte
Location: Location is in Davie street, this is in the middle of the gay area. If you are gay and planning to go out then this is the perfect location
Suite have many facilities included: kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher. Balconies are large. We had the city view on the 21st floor, which was amazing. During the colder months the outside pool is closed and the free Spa facilities are limited (only steam bath). There is a infra red sauna , but you have to pay for that.

Best hotel in gay village because of the location.

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The location of the hotel was within walking distance to the bars, restaurants, sky train, grocery store and liquor stores. I really liked the full k
Cons: The elevators are too slow.
Location: See above
If this hotel was an apartment or condo, I would buy it in a heart beat because of its location and the spectacular view on the 21st floor. The suites are affordable and I will return for future visits.

Good for the price. Great location.

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at the hotel and overall we enjoyed our experience. Our only problems we really had were that the elevators were SO slow that sometimes you found yourself waiting for close to 10 minutes. Also, once you entred the stair well there was no going back. You were forced to go down to the lobby and take the elevator again. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was really yummy and well staffed. Great location if your going out and about in downtown Vancouver. We would stay here again for sure. A great deal for the price.

Good deal great location

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: location and in suite kitchen
Cons: More TV channel choices.
Location: In the hearts of davie village, lots of shopping and food choices, a few blocks to the beach.
The hotel is undergoing a renovation so a few things like slow elevators are a bit of a hassle but overall the hotel is a great place to stay right in the heart of the LGBT Davie Village with so many shops and restaurants you barely need to go more than a few blocks for anything you need. There is a grocery store, bakery and fruits stand on the same block and the rooms have kitchens (and in-suite laundry) so its really a great deal if you're int own for a long stay or like to cook your own meals. There is also a great gym, pool and steam room all included int he room charge. If you're a light sleeper ask for a lower room as the high rooms get a lot more noise.

Not to my expectations.

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Renivation.
The hotel is old and badly in need of some renovations. The light when interning the room was not working. The front disk male staff was not very pleasant and he took a long time trying to locate a package which I left earlier with the front disk femal staff.

Pros: Balcony
Cons: TV reception was fuzzy in living area but OK in bedroom.
Location: Close to the beach and shopping downtown
Great rooms, nicely updated. I especially liked the fact that all rooms are equipped with kitchens, clothes washer/dryer and balconies!

I wish the staff were more courteous

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: location and kitchen
Cons: beds
Location: Nice for a good run. Everything is close by.
Overall okay experience with the location and room. Beds are quite terrible and I couldnt get enough sleep in the 4 days we stayed. The hotel staff was quite curt and not very friendly.

Excellent Davie Street location

Posted Oct 11, 2014
This is a nice 3 plus star hotel. Location to davue street and English Bay really are what make this hotel nice. Plus the suites can save you money on food if you want to cook your own meals.

Nice hotel; poor location for families.

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Economical
Cons: Nothing you can help.
Location: We were disappointed in the fact that the hotel was located in the middle of the gay community. There wasn't much to do nearby; needed a car.
Too many gays and street people sleeping all over the sidewalks. I would have rather been in a cleaner, safer feeling part of town.
