“Nicer hotels nearby”

We stayed here 2 nights, then left our car for a park and cruise experience. The hotel needs updateing. It could be more inviting. The coffee shop is not great, the rooms are drab.

“Good service, close to the airport.”

We were impressed that they paid for a taxi to take us to the airport because we needed to be there earlier than their free shuttle service started. Having Moxie's Grill onsite was also a plus. Room was adequate.

“You were expecting the Ritz?”

Perfectly fine airport hotel. We requested a quiet room away from the elevator and ice machine and got one. Didn't hear our neighbors. Walked to a little mall nearby and ate Korean barbecue. Shuttle service was fast and friendly--driver very helpful.

“A great place for an overnight”

We stayed at Sandman Airport Hotel after our Alaska Cruise and found it very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, good sized room, cable TV, coffee in the room. It's walking distance to Tim Horton's coffee shop. We were very happy there. They pickup and deliver to the airport.

“Would not stay at this hotel again, the internet speed is worst than dial-up. AND Dirty.”

When we arrived at the hotel room, there is pee on the toilet seat, one of the trash bin still have things in it. We stayed for 2 weeks(because we were too lazy to move), through our entire stay, the wireless internet did not work, me and my husband have to share the one LAN connection they have in the room. I would not book this hotel again.

“Great Airport stopover”

The shuttle service was great. We arrived after midnight and locating the shuttle was very simple. Service was great. We also stayed here on our return trip. Walked to the train station (10 minutes) and took the train down town. Very easy, very simple. Room was comfortable and clean which is all we ask for in an airport hotel

“Close to airport, clean but needs updating”

Hotel was very close to airport. Room was small but ok for one night. Hotel seems to be in need of updating - room looked "old" and beat up. On sight restaurant had ok, but not great, food. Several staff waited on us as our assigned waiter was "busy". He had to ask us what we ordered so he could prepare our bill. Free shuttle to the airport.

Area recommendations

Stanley Park is an awesome park and well worth the trip from the hotel. Pricey to attend the attractions within the Park, but the Aquarium was great.

“Will go back again for sure!!”

At first, we went to the other Sandman Hotel and they directed us to this newer one. We were surprised to get this nice Resort. The hotel is more than we expected. Friendly front dest, nice lobby, and comfortable atmosphere. We were assigned to a quiet non-smoking room as our request. Very clean room. Love it. We will come back again!
