Decent for the price

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Got a nice nights sleep. Good location. A little ramshackle but nice enough considering how little we paid. Breakfast was better than I expected but still a fairly typical cold continental. Covered and secure free parking, karaoke, hot hard boiled eggs in the morning seemed to be the little highlights of this place.

Terrible hotel

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Worst hotel I've ever seen. We had to check out immediately after checking in.

Not recommended. Shuttle service from airport not running at/after 11 pm; elevator not working; first room I was assigned to had not been made up.

Cheap Hotel in Vancouver

Posted Dec 3, 2014
The hotel is cheap but right next to the airport. They are really close to the airport and offer a free shuttle which was the reason I booked the hotel as my flight was really early. When you call them, they claim they go 24 hours but in reality, they are not. That would all be okay if the manager of the hotel wouldn't have given a snippy and arrogant response. He didn't believe that the advertisement on Expedia was incorrect and let us stand around in his lobby while he searched the Internet. Just plain rude and arrogant.

Sorry to say I won't stay here again.

Pros: PRICE
Cons: Everything
Location: Nothing
Have to call for airport pick up and then you wait 30 minutes Too far from airport In a seedy part of Marine Drive Nothing very good within walking distance It worked and the price was right for this particular trip I will pay more next time for something nicer Staff were pleasant enough but the entire hotel needs their carpets changed out. Grungy. The entire hotel needs a re-haul.

Best thing about it was the late night convenience store next store that sold wine! Noisy AC, blinds didn't shut right and oh yes..almost forgot..broken elevators..Pretty scary place..heard it used to be strip club!! BUT did have airport shuttle and secure parking.

An evening in Super 8 Vancouver

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: It has a bus shuttle that picks you from the airport
Cons: The airport shuttle starts at 6 am. it would be much better if start at 5 pm. then I don't need to take a taxi to the airport.
Location: Nearby to Bus shelter and other amenities.
The hotel is nice and nearby restaurants ant airport about 10 to 15 minutes drive.

Good place to stay for the frugal traveller

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: A quick shuttle service to the airport! A reasonable price for the stay!
Cons: The hotel needs some major upgrades, however that would also increase the price.
Location: The hotel is located at the corner of Fraser and Marine Drive SE in Vancouver.Close a White Spot Restaurant. Had no time to check out the area.
We only spent one night in the hotel. The staff at the front desk and the Complimentary breakfast were very pleasant and helpful. The bathroom facilities were old and showed wear and tear but were very functional. There were some problems with the hallway ceiling. The bed was clean and we had a very restful night.

Nice cheap stay

It's a cheaper hotel and good if you just need to crash for a night. NOTE: airport shuttle stops at 10:30 so we had to take a cab ($20). There's also a bar in the same building so if your a light sleeper might not be good on fri or sat.
