Close to airport with shuttle.Posted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Airport shuttle
Cons: Better breakfast
Location: Near airport
Old old hotel, lobby has been updated which may fool people into thinking they are getting a more modern room. Breakfast included was sparse.

Inexpensive hotel in an expensive cityPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Without doubt, the price is the compelling factor to me. That it included a breakfast was a bonus. Secured parking at no additional cost.
Cons: The hotel is beside a busy road and I could hear the traffic. The hotel needs a refit; parts of it look to be run down.
Location: Close to the airport, which was important to me. It is a 15-20 minute drive to downtown; 25 minutes to UBC.
I like to stay at a clean place that has minimal costs -- all I need is a bed and shower. The Super8 fit the bill.

Pros: not too much ,it's old ....
Location: wasn't an issue ,didn't stay long enough ...

terriblePosted Feb 21, 2014
My flight arrived late and when I phoned to inquire about the shuttle I was informed that I missed the last one at 10:30pm. I asked how much a taxi would cost and was informed it would be about $20. When I asked if there was a skytrain station nearby I was told not and that I would need to take a cab from the nearest station. After paying the $20 for a taxi I realized that the skytrain station was only a few blocks from the hotel. This would have saved me $15. I was asked if I wanted a wake up call as I had an early flight and I said yes. It wasn't until the next morning, after I had woken up to my phone alarm, that I realized there was no phone in the room. How was I to get a wake up call? When I asked about it at the front desk I was offhandedly told "I will let the cleaning lady know"...and that was that. The "continental breakfast" was a joke with dry cereal but no milk, chocolate chip muffins that are old and stale, some "fruit cocktail" mix in syrup and coffee. The juice dispensors had nothing. Terrible customer service and terrible environment. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Best economy priced hotel in a central Vancouver.Posted Feb 18, 2014
Cons: Little more cleanliness.
Location: Great shopping and dining experience for Asians and especially East Indians.
Reasonable good hotel. Location wise very good for Asians and East Indians because of so many relevant shops and restaurants in Fraser street.Reasonably clean and good services. Best affordable for medium income people.
Worse hotel I have ever stayed atPosted Feb 16, 2014
The staff were unfriendly, the paint was peeling and bathroom had holes all over. The curtains had holes in them and the bed was the worse I've ever had. Would never recommend anyone to stay here

Older but nice roomsPosted Feb 14, 2014
The hotel is older but the rooms were nice and the mattress super comfy. The lobby was stylish and the staff friendly. Breakfast was pretty lame and there's quite a bit of traffic all night but for the price it was a great overnight before a flight (free shuttle helped as well).
Freezing !Posted Feb 12, 2014
Staff doesn't care about their establishment .. Cleaning staff just barges in with no privacy. The hotel staff are not friendly or welcoming at all

Get location and price close to Vancouver airportPosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Price, location and airport shuttle!
Cons: Not really, it was better then expected.
Location: No much around, there's a restaurant, a Petro across the street. It's basically great if you need to catch an early flight.
You can't beat the price and location, free airport shuttle (both ways), cont breakfast was slim but did the trick. This Super 8 use to be a Comfort Inn before the last Winter Olympics. If you are a smoker ask for a balcony room, but bring ear plugs, as these rooms face the main road and can disturb sleep.
it was freezing!Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: However the kereoke on wednesday thursday nights was amazing and so much fun!
Cons: They coudl definatley use some remodeling or a better overall cleaning
Location: the location is kinda in the middle of nowhere...no malls no trains nearby, only a bus that comes often down fraser st that doesnt take u anywhere good
the hotel staff varied from ok to mean. except for this one man who we only saw on sunday night who was awesom e. throughout the week it got worse and worse and colder and colder...it was one of the coldest days of the year and we had jackets and touques and blankets on, cleaning lady was rude and barged into the room on us when i asked her to give us a minute to get up and get moving. i even made my own bed! when i told the maintenance guyt that our heater was clearly not working he threw a heater at me and said here ya go.mind you at the same time you could get away with anything there cuz there lac of care or conserns for anybody was out the door the minute u walked in. even when you needed to get in to the underground parking you had to wait for them to see you on camera so if buddy was sleeping or flirting or talking on the phone it would literally take you 15 minutes for them to open the gates..cuz they are too cheap to buy a different system where you can swipe your car
