nice locationPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: service and location
Cons: ceiling fan, room was a tad stuffy
Location: Easy to get to all the stores, water taxi to Granville Island, Gastown, everywhere one is apt to go while downtown.
The room stays warm so not sure about staying there in the summer but it worked well for us in May. Didn't notice the front windows opened until the last morning but we were on a corner and able to keep the front door open in the evening. The air conditioner helped but also put off a lot of heat. Minor inconvenience really. The coffee is amazing! Real cream too if that matters to you, does to me. The cafe next door is also very good. If you go eat at Joe's on Davie...excellent food and service. The location is very good if you like the West End but transit is also very convenient for going anywhere else. The staff at The Burrard make you feel very welcome and are extremely helpful.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Courtyard is great especially in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Room very comfortable With knowing this is a very old motel, they have done some great upgrades for everyone's comfort

Vancouver hotel close to the actionPosted May 24, 2015
Burrard Hotel is well located to transport (both rail and bus and also the hop on hop off tram) The Skytrain station is 7 short blocks from the hotel Hotel is a short walk to main shopping area and around the corner from one of the main entertainment cafe areas Hotel is an older hotel that has been totally refurbished The rooms are small however when you are a tourist that is not an issue as you are rarely in your room Hotel provides free push bikes for use and also umbrellas Reception 24 hours It is the only hotel that has sent me a pre-arrival email detailing best transfer options from airport to hotel which was of great assistance Good value for money Only issue I had was with air conditioning. I struggled to get it adjusted correctly

Casual, convenient, comfyPosted May 22, 2015
Friendly staff, helpful concierge. Clean, modern rooms with all basic amenities and comfy beds. Location is great! We were able to walk/bike to most places, including a ton of great restaurats, to the bus stop to get to Capilano Suspension Bridge, and the Aqua Bus Ferry to get to Granville Island. Stayed 4 nights and it was perfect! Thanks Burrard for making it wonderful!

Great location and feels like old HollywoodPosted May 17, 2015
We stayed here for a girls getaway. We could park our vehicle and walk to Robsons shopping and Rogers arena. It's not a short walk but completely enjoyable. We loved the Nespresso maker in the morning and sitting in the courtyard. It's across from a hospital but we only heard sirens once. We loved the staff and feeling like we had stepped back in time. We will be back.

Great Value for a Convenient Downtown HotelPosted May 13, 2015
Pros: Extremely helpful staff offered many suggestions for restaurants and places to see. They also offered free bicycles for the use of guests.
Cons: Sound proof or insulated windows.
Location: The location is excellent. You are within walking distance of many restaurants, the harbor, travelers' information centers, post office, banks, etc.
This hotel was a real winner. The room was very comfortable and clean, and was within walking distance of many restaurants and activities that you would want to go to. It has an art deco theme and is not fancy, but the value can't be beat. They offer free wifi and a printer, as well as free phone calls to Canada and North America. Since it is located right on a main street, there is some traffic noise. We put the fan on at night and weren't able to hear any noises from outside. They have a beautiful quiet, internal courtyard area that was great for reading, meeting friends or having your own glass of wine. We would definitely go back to this hotel for a future visit.

Stylish and comfortable with friendly service.Posted May 11, 2015
Loved the mid-century modern look and feel of the motel and printed guest materials in the room. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and it was nice that the day following our stay we were able to leave our car parked in the garage until we left in the early afternoon.

Nice hotel center of town easy reach to anywherePosted May 9, 2015
Pros: Almost everything!
Cons: Not much to change.
Location: In the middle of town lots of things within close reach.
Rooms are very nice, rates are really good and the location is great! Only down side was the traffic noise from Burrard street. First time we stayed here we had a room with the window facing the courtyard, much quieter.Next time we will request the same thing, facing the city was just too noisy.

Hip hotel that's way too basicPosted May 6, 2015
Cons: Mattress was way to soft, so I constantly ended up in uncomfortable position. Pillows are way to big for back or side sleepers.
Hip hotel for young audience, I'd say sub 25. space, amenities and rooms are very cheap. It is more like 4 story motel 6 that tries to be chic.
