suprisingly good

I was suprised how service is good at this hotel. We just stayed 1 night but it was very comfy easy access on transportations .a great hotel for a quick stay in vancouver.

Great overall hotel for travelers and young kids

Pros: Location, just walk out of the hotel, you are right in the airport and full access to all the airport amenities. The staff was great.
Cons: Self parking was a little walk but it's an airport so can't complain.
Location: Easy access to Vancouver and Richmond via Skytrain. Love the airport access. Overall, great place to stay.
Great hotel for the family. Even thought it's geared towards professionals, the kid loved the place. He had so much fun and didn't want to leave, kids always gives their honest opinions so I cant go wrong with that. The view of the runway was excellent.

Very Good Stay

Pros: Location, right in Airport. Live musical entertainment in lounge
Cons: Slight disappointment that Live TV screens on Gym Equipment were not working while I was there. Bad timing
Location: Great location, right in airport. all amenities needed in hotel or nearby
Enjoyable stay, high quality hotel as expected for premium price hotel

Convenient location

Arrived at airport at 1:00am from New Orleans. So convenient just to walk through airport to Fairmont. No city hustle & bustle. Very appealing after a grueling travel day & night. Thumbs up!!!!

Efficient and friendly staff

Lovely hotel. Staff made check in and check out very fast and efficient. Very important when everyone is rushing to catch a flight.

Great hotel for early morning flights !

Pros: YVR location
Location: You can eat in one of the many YVR a restaurants.
Cannot beat the location within YVR For those early morning flights. It's a first class hotel with excellent staff, somewhat expensive but with fun lounge.

Stopover on the way to our final destination

Pros: Location at the airport.
Cons: Make sure rooms are clean and that everything is working properly.
Location: Not applicable in this case.
Our stay this time was not as good as usual. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, reading lights over the bed did not work, and the sliding doors to the bathroom did not close (five inch gap). Considering the costs, you don't expect this kind of deficiency. In addition, there were very noisy guests in several rooms near ours and the sound transferred more than I would have expected.

the gold floor worth it

Pros: the gold floor staff
Cons: the pool experience leaves a lot to be desired. not a very attractive place to relax in.
Location: the sky train just outside the door.. just be sure to grab your ticket at the 7 - 11 to avoid the airport fee.
even if I wasn't on the gold floor... I would have said this place is worth a stay. convenient if you are flying out the next day.. or a quick stop over on a long trip home. food was excellent in the restaurant. the gold room has its own light snack bar on the floor.. so very quiet and relaxing. I wouldn't go here for the swimming pool. but everything else was fantastic.
