“Poor plumbing and broken cabinets”

The bathroom pluming was lousy. The toilet couldn't evacuate one kleenex, even after daily visits by maintenance Team. Cabinet doors were nearly hanging off hinges and doors wouldn't stay closed.

“exquisite”

This place is elegant. A breathtaking location, sparkling interior lobby, a classy restaurant, and beautifully appointed rooms. The gym was small but squeaky clean with everything you'd want. Plus an outdoor pool, heated. This is just a top-notch hotel in every way.

Downtown, Gastown--both are excellent places to walk with many things to do. Plus public transport is excellent

I was disappointed in the quality of the hotel for the price we paid. It was old and needed updating. Loved the location but the hotel was not worth the price we paid.

Really good room, service was friendly and professional and good, and is located on the waterfront and near the gas town neighborhood and stanley park and lots to do and get away to.

“Pretty good”

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Waterfront but there were a couple of things that slightly marred our visit. In an era of free WiFi, their daily charge is way too high. I also don't mind paying for quality food and drinks but felt that the drinks at the Herons bar were overpriced for what they were.

Getting around

You can skip traffic and save some money by taking the Canada line Sky Train from the airport to Waterfront station which is right next to the hotel.

“Great Views & close to everything!”

The Fairmont Waterfront was amazing. We got off the Disney Wonder & walked across the street. Room ready early and everyone was so friendly. Concierge gave us a map & recommendations of what to check out and we walked all over Vancouver. Our waterfront view was fabulous and the health spa and pool on the third floor deck/roof overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. They even had a garden up top with flowers & herbs. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Well worth the price and the very best location! LOVED IT!!!

Waterfront - loved seeing the Olympic Torch, Stanley Park, downtown area, & Gastown. It was all beautiful and very walkable. Loved Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House.
