Nice hotel

Staff were professional & helpful. The upgrade at checkin was a nice surprise. Rooms were clean. Did not like the Nespresso, as several including regular coffee, quite bitter tasting. Definitely recommendable.

Close to sporting events, but...

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Directly across from both sports stadium and arena, so very convenient for those, but for the money I expected more. They will, however, loan you an umbrella! 😌

Downtown Vancouver

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Quality of food in attached restaurant.
Location: Downtown Vancouver. Adjacent to BC Place Stadium.
We enjoyed being in downtown Vancouver. The Georgian Court Hotel is across from the BC Place Stadium which can be wonderful or not depending on your interests and what is happening there. Shortly after our check-in we got to see thousands of delightful fans leaving a boy-band concert. It's pet-friendly, but call ahead of time to ask that your room be on one of their pet floors. NIce rooms, Friendly staff. Average food in the attached restaurant.

Location

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Location, amenities and cleanliness.
Cons: Since you asked......and this goes for every hotel room on the planet. Why do they always give you a coffee maker and never any cream or milk ?
Location: Everything is nearby.
Can't beat the location which is why we booked it as we went to 2 concerts and you're right there across the street from both venues. The room wasn't ready at check in so they upgraded us to the penthouse. The room was excellent overall with 2 separate bedrooms and baths.

Stretching the word Luxury

Posted Jul 17, 2015
They bill themselves as a small luxury hotel, not quite what I would call luxury. First room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had garbage left in it. The manager moved us to a different room that smelled better and was void of garbage. Unfortunately the cleanliness still was not great.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Fix steam room
Great location, wonderful staff, good restaurant. Only tiny drawback was that the steam room did not work. Otherwise all excellent.

Excellent location, nice amenities

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Great location across from BC Place, adjacent to Robson St short walk to Yaletown, and close to the Sky Train Chinatown/Stadium station. Love the complementary bottled water. Executive suite was comfortable for family of 3. Bathroom was on the small side and a little out dated but clean and functional. Nice Aveda toiletries and feminine products - nice touch. Convenient parking garage and tasty restaurant.

Overpriced

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: as above
Cons: as above
over $400 for a 2 double bed room. very standard room, like a best western or comfort inn and the charge, all in, was $420 (plus parking). Description says boutique/luxury hotel - well, not in this room it isn't. the wi-fi was pathetically slow. fine hotel and decent location, but at least 40% over priced
