Location: Have to try the "Hop On Hop Off" city tour if it's a first visit to Vancouver. Excellent!
Other than an overnight employee who seemed to be less than courteous, the rest of the staff, including the restaurant employees, were extremely nice and helpful.

Nice Hotel, close to shops and restaurants.Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Convenient location for shops and large selection restaurants and food outlets. Free Wi-Fi in the room is good for connecting to the internet.
Location: Nothing to criticize.
It is near enough 4 star hotel. It is neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. The room is spacious with large windows for the day light. The artificial lighting in the room is dim at night. There is YMCA next door, but we did not have any inconvenience from it.

No FrillsPosted May 21, 2015
This is not a 4 star hotel. There are no amenities--no pool, no bar, no concierge, no business center, no shops, no nothing. Beds were not comfortable Rooms were basic and not what you would expect out of a 4 star hotel

High-end hotel on a Low-end StreetPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable bed, large bathroom, large windows.
Cons: Lighting in the bathroom was mighty dim.
I was nervous driving up Beatty Street toward our hotel. And when I saw the YMCA next door I thought we were doomed. But the hotel is really nice, and dinner at the restaurant next door was good. We walked up Robson to a nice breakfast the next morning & a few blocks further was the Vancouver Art Gallery. So the whole neighborhood is a kind of cross between sketchy-urban & lively-urban.

QuestionsPosted May 17, 2015
Pros: The restaurant.
Cons: Parking included.
Location: Everything in walking distance
All was good. The hotel did charge us for taxes multiple times on the bill though. It was itemized but clearly I was billed twice for the taxes.. Once daily and then again on the total. I know hotels have funny or maybe even hazy rules and taxes.. but I will be waiting for the credit card bill. The other question is weather it was billed in US or Canadian currency.

Great location, beautiful hotelPosted May 16, 2015
Stayed one night for U2 concert at Rogers Arena. Parked our car and didn't have to drive until check out because so many great restaurants close by. Also a nice walking path along the water. Will definitely go back.

Cons: It was not as clean as I would have liked.
Location was great. With the price of the room, I would expect not to have to pay extra for parking. The room was not dirty but was not perfectly clean either.
