Art Hotel

Just a short one night stay. Loved the art and room interior, but not bathroom. Staff were very understanding.

Excellent hotel and staff.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: I like the art work through out the hotel and the excellent condition of the premises and cheerfulness (not an act) of the staff.
Location: In the heart of shopping, museums and close enough to walk to the little ferries that take you to Granville, etc.
I usually stay at the Hotel Sylvia but they could not accommodate me for 3 nights so I tried the Hotel Listel. It exceeded my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, location was perfect and the staff were accommodating. One young man went outside and waited for my taxi and then took my luggage out to the cab. I have never had anyone do that before. Although the breakfast was a little pricey the really go out of their way to make sure everything is fresh and as ordered. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to Vancouver.

Pros: The friendliness
Location: great location to hop on/off bus, all sites close by, used taxis due to mobility issues. Taxi inexpensive and drivers friendly
An awesome time in Van. Saw all that we wanted to see even with disability issues

Nice hotel with great location in downtown.

Cons: Charge less for parking.
Charging $40 for parking is ridiculous, but overall a nice, clean hotel.

Right in the Heart of Everything

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Convenient to anything you need.
Location: Convenience stores, restaurants, clubs, bakeries. You name it.
This hotel is right on Robson Street which is where most of the clubs, shopping, and places to eat are. Convenient to just about anything you are looking for. We were leaving to go on a cruise and it is not far away from the pier the ships leave from either. A quick and harrowing cab ride got us to the pier in minutes. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We only dealt with two of the staff during check in and check out, but we were pleased with the room we had.

Great hotel to stay in.

Pros: The artistry of decor
Great for a hotel prior to cruising since so close to port. It was an elegant experience and would stay there again.

Small hotel, friendly staff, well-located

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The hotel had convenient valet parking, but the price was quite steep.
Location: Many restaurants, just a few blocks from beautiful Stanley Park, near Canada Place and the waterfront.
Comfortable, quiet room, welcoming, efficient staff, great location in downtown Vancouver. Excellent restaurant (Forage) in hotel.

Listel spot on!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Second stay at Listel, second verse same as the first. Great location, efficient, effective, courteous staff, easy to find and parking via valet. Latter expensive but you're in the middle of downtown Vancouver! Location rates value for price with rooms comfortable. An included breakfast buffet ( simple - eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, juice, coffee ) would have been the topper.

Great location on Robson

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The rooms were nice and quiet. The staff at the front counter were great.
Cons: Nothing I could think of, except maybe free parking and a shuttle.
Location: The hotel is right on Robson toward the west end. There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The Listel is a nice hotel toward the west end of Robson St. The staff was great-very helpful and friendly. The kids would have liked a pool and an airport shuttle would have been nice, but we knew what amenities the hotel had when we made the reservation. The daily fee for valet parking is on par with other hotels in the area. The rooms and hotel are in very good shape and the rooms were comfortable and quiet.
