Comfortable Boutique Hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2014
After staying at a waterfront hotel in Vancouver that didn't have a room for the second night of my conference, I was at first disappointed to move to the Listel (about 6 blocks from the waterfront). Instead what I found was a very comfortable, roomy and beautifully appointed room that was extremely quiet. The delivery of French-pressed coffee in the morning was an added bonus. Stay in a gallery room: king-sized bed, five pieces of original artwork and cherry furniture. Walk out onto vibrant Robson Street for a true "taste" of downtown Vancouver.

Great location, friendly staff

We liked our stay here so much that we have booked two more times to stay here. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Close to all the shops on Robson. Have access to a great fitness facility 3 blocks away.

What a Find!

Pros: I loved the view, proximity to everything and the room.
Cons: Nothing
Location: This hotel is so close to all fabulous restaurants, incredible walking paths and the ocean.
We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with massive bay windows that faced the ocean. The hotel is very close to outstanding restaurants, sushi bars, coffee shops and shopping. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant that is very well rated. Both meals were extraordinary. The hotel is an easy walk to Stanley Park, Granville Island and Canada Place. The hotel was very quiet, clean and the windows can open. Lastly, the staff was outstanding.

great hotel close shops & restaurants

Pros: central location, walking distance to the downtown core.
Cons: nothing I can think of.
Location: Robson Street is one of Vancouver's best shopping areas. Also close to Stanley Park where you can walk or bike the seawall.
we were made very welcome by front desk and restaurant staff We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant very good food. They try to use local products which is a big plus in my book.

I love the Listel.

Small, with a boutique feeling, lots of beautiful art on every floor, in every room. The hotel staff is super friendly and they have lots of great perks like complementary coffee service in the mornings, wine tastings from 5 to 6, cookies on your dashboard in the morning when you drive away… It's in a great spot, on Robson, half way between downtown and the park. Love it.

Loved the art

Great hotel. Loved our brunch at Forage. Pillows were terrible and there was some damage to the back of our bathroom door. But the things that mattered were excellent!
