The little things....

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Staff and attention to detail.
Cons: The bathrooms are a bit outdated. Could do with an upgrade, but clean.
Location: Great, downtown location. Walking distance to everything and lots of restaurants and shops right outside the door.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Attention to the details, being very courteous from front desk staff to valet, and an easy-to-get-around location meant a great stay.

Great location & Friendly Staff

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Fantastic location. Awesome art throughout hotel and rooms.
Cons: Rooms could be updated, specifically bathroom could be re-painted and was a little dark.
Location: Stones throw from restaurants and activities, very central and easy to get to and from.
Booked a last minute trip to Vancouver and found a great deal on the Listle. The Hotel is in a fantastic location and walking distance to pretty much anywhere you need to be. Staff were very friendly and very helpful, room and property were clean. Rooms had some minor cosmetic updates but overall the location, cleanliness and demeanor of the staff made the stay great.

Great All Around Hotel

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location, valet parking, quiet, modern, and really comfortable beds.
Cons: Disappointed that this is no longer a jazz bar. I realize that it was likely a busines decision, but we loved that aspect of staying here.
Location: We like to walk: to Gastown, Coal Harbour, shopping district, Vancouver Art Museum, Stanley Park, sea wall, English Bay, Granville Island, Yaletown
The location of this hotel makes it an excellent choice for vacationers and for business travellers. There are lots of amenities nearby, you can walk forever from here and getting to and from the hotel us easy. It is well situated in the downtown core and is quiet - for a good night's sleep. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Weekend between workweek while traveling

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Free Parking
Location: Stanley Park, Grandville Island Market and lots of other things are easy to get to .
I found this hotel online last year. The staff are all great and the location is downtown close to lots of attractions and the art placed throughout the hotel is unique. The restaurant that is connected to the hotel is beyond good. The chef does a great job and they source local ingredients and change the menu up often. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to enjoy a night or two away.

Boutique Hotel on Robson Street

Posted Apr 6, 2015
The location of the hotel is ideal as it is right in the heart of the busy Robson Street and close by to shops and various restaurants. The rooms and furniture are a bit older but the bed is firm and comfortable. The complimentary internet is also very fast! What makes the hotel stand out is the staff - really friendly and helpful. The price was also very reasonable.

Hip, Artsy Hotel in Vancouver BC

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Classy, comfortable, and artsy. Good location.
Cons: Offer some sort of free breakfast food.
Location: Breka Bakery, designer label stores (if you're into that), free shuttle to Capilano Susp Bridge, currency exchange, various Asian foods, All Star Pub
We found this hotel by comparing rates of various forms of lodging in Vancouver near Stanley Park, BC Place, and the train station. The nightly rate for the gallery room with 2 queen beds was great compared to others. I was skeptical that the room would be as nice as the pictures, but it totally was. Classy and comfortable, simultaneously. The staff were so nice to us tourists. Once I mentioned we were headed to Capilano Suspension Bridge, a lady behind the front desk gave us a coupon and told us about the free shuttle that leaves regularly from one block down. They recommended the Breka Bakery for breakfast (fantastic bakery, btw) since they don't have any free breakfast options aside from coffee/tea (my only suggestion to staff, though it may keep the rate low) at the hotel and we didn't want to pay their restaurant's prices for food. The coffee/tea service came on time each morning and the service staff was super friendly and didn't laugh at my bedhead. Valet parking is not cheap but made our rental car really accessible and kept it safe at night. Great for a family, friends, or business trip.

Staff were outstanding treating us with hospitality, warmth and patience. A special shout out goes to concierge & bellman, Marinho (pronounced "Mar-in-yo"), who was simply the best individual I've ever dealt with in that position. He was the very epitome of hospitality. Since we were new to the city, he took a great deal of time to help us iron out a complete four-day itinerary that included special sites of interest, a complete meal plan at exceptional restaraunts, and modes and routes of transportation. Onsite restaurant had an excellent breakfast (it was the only meal we sampled there as we ate in Vancouver restaurants at all other times). Hats off to the Listel and Marinho for making our Vancouver visit one for the books!

A 3-4 star rated at a 4-5

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Put flowers out, newspapers, anything to add a bit more of a feature
Location: You can use google maps.
Staff was great - hotel was just ok. My room backed onto an alley, and was relatively small. Weird features (soap dispensers), and decor
