“Very fine hotel”
This was the best place we stayed even including the cruise hotels, and was much more reasonable. The beds were devinely comfortable, the hotel has recently been refurbished and is very tastefully done, the amenities were gracious with coffeemakers, etc. and a full made-to-order breakfast promptly served and delicious! What a super hotel!
“Lovely Boutique Hote”
Small Boutique hotel in downtown area. Exceptional and extremely friendly service. Has business center. Rooms a little on the small side but tastefully done and arranged. Would definitely go back again.
“A good choice for Vancouver”
Stayed here one night on the way to board a cruise ship the next morning. It was perfect. Friendly staff, reasonable location (about 7-10 min walk to ship dock), complimentary internet, water bottles and breakfast. We almost didn't want to get on the cruise after one night of sleep here. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
“Great hotel in great location”
The hotel was very nice and clean. the staff was polite, courteous and responsive. There were only a few things I would say that were not so great: first it's a low rise hotel, so there are no rooms with a view. Second they have no drop off lane or place to park your car when uloading. You basically have to park in the street with your hazards on and quickly unload and then quickly move your car befor the cops come. They do have a pretty good below grade parking structure though it's below the building next door. all in all, an excellent hotel and I would still go bacfk agian.
“BANG UP-TO-DATE”
Free wifi, telephone and breakfast - great! Decor is modern within the shell of a traditional downtown building. Hotel bar is a bit noisy (hockey on 24/24). Right in the centre of town, good restaurants just next door. Has the feel of a small personal hotel. Good choice for tourists or business people.
“Lovely little gem”
Amazing little place with lovely touches, like beautiful soaps and little truffles on the pillows.
“Fantastic Hotel”
This might be one of the best hotels in Vancouver, if you are looking for low-key high quality accommodations. The hotel is centrally located near Gransville, has exellent customer service, nice bedding (compared to US hotels), and the fact that many ancillary services are free, made me very welcome (free breakfast, free Fiji water in the room, free wireless, and, rather unusual, free telephone to anywhere in the world). I can definitely recommend it.
“Perfect Location for First-Timers and More (Mar-April 2011)”
Great location. Near Canada Line rail system. 25 min rail trip from the airport. Blocks from the Sea Bus to North Vancouver and surrounded by tons of bus lines. Walking distance to many Vancouver attractions. Near many places to shop and eat. Up to date amenities. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great breakfast to start each morning. Over, a wonderful experience.
“Very comfortable and convenient”
Good location, helpful staff, all the amenities
“You get more than what you pay for!”
When we began looking for a hotel, we just wanted a hotel close to downtown Vancouver and something cheap. We didn't think it was going to be much considering the rates but when we got there, WOW! It was a really nice place right it the dab center of Vancouver. We could go almost everywhere in walking distance and the staff there were extra helpful with directions, they printed maps for us and sought out bus routes. The experience was amazing, when we go back, we plan on staying there again, no doubt!
