Fleuri - Fine French cuisine fashioned from seasonal Pacific Northwest products is the attraction at this lobby-level restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Full-course table d'hôte dinners are featured, along with signature dishes such as filet of turbot, roast quail, and lightly smoked rack of lamb. Guests who don't see what they want on the menu can make their preferences known to the kitchen in advance, and the chef will oblige. The chocolate buffet is legendary.

Gerard Lounge - An intimate lounge reminiscent of a private English club complete with fireplace, leather furnishings, wood paneling, soft sconce lighting, and landscape paintings. “Amazing hotel at a great price”

This hotel completely surpassed all expectations. Friendly staff, excellent lobby setting with meticulously assembled christmas decorations. The hotel has an overall classic european feel without the "old" feeling. In fact, everything seemed brand new! Location is right at the shopping strip of downtown and everything is within walking distance. Hard to beat! I did put a "4" in comfort because I could hear the guy snoring in the room adjacent to me, probably through the door that separates the connected rooms. I was a little concerned he might hear my phone conversations as a result. Also, the internet is not complimentary and further detracts from the "5". Rooms have an excellent view of the city. My bed seems to be done twice a day, as I noticed the setup is different in the day time as it is for the night time. At night, it was pleasing to find a note indicating the next day's weather along with a couple of complimentary chocolate minis.

“Excellent Service, great location - will be back”

Decided to visit Vancouver for a last minute weekend getaway and chose the Sutton Place based on location, amenities and a screaming last-minute Expedia deal. The service is incredible! In particular, David, our concierge for the weekend, was super-knowledgable and helpful in planning our weekend activities. The hotel is walking distance to everything. The rooms were great - comfy, quiet - very nice.

“perfect spot to stay in a fantastic city”

All the way around: staff, appointments, restaurant, lounge, spa & health facilities, service outstanding. Everyone I met was gracious, helpful and delightful! Would go back tomorow.

Area recommendations
Downtown, the waterfront, Granville Island, the University, Grandville street, Robson Street...all of downtown. Don't miss the Italian restaurant right across from the hotel.

“Great Hotel with Fabulous Location”

This hotel was quite nice; the front desk staff and concierge were very accomodating. The location was amazing as well with great shopping and dining nearby. A wonderful experience overall!

“Consistently Good”

We like this hotel a lot. Been to about 15 hotels in this city. I think we have found the best value among the higher end hotels. Very little real difference between this hotel and the Fairmont two blocks away and you can usually find a lot better deal here. Our second stay and by chance we stayed in the exact same room! We had a nice north view on the 7th floor. Quiet, clean comfortable. There are two big armchairs and a giant picture window. Move the chairs over and prop your feet up on the window ledge and you'll soon be very content! Close to Robson St. shops & restaurants. Almost the exact center of the downtown core. Walkable to both north & south shores of downtown. We park at the Pacific Centre Garage(EasyPark under Sears-24hr access) and pay $6 for evenings and weekend days vs. $40 for the hotel.

“Wonderful hotel”

Loved the close location on the inner harbour. Just a quick walk to Wharf St. Best view of Victoria. Lovely all around. Top quality.
