Nice pool and jacuzzi area.

We find the front desk staff (Alvaro) very friendly and accommodating . The lady who brought us the baby crib is so helpful in giving direction to places we want to go to and when we requested for a slippers so we can use in walking to the pool area, it was brought to us in no time. We will definately consider coming back.

Nice hotel in downtown Vancouver

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Cons: Free wifi for all overnight guests
We stayed at the Sutton Place in Vancouver because it was close to the conference we were attending and we secured an amazing rate through Expedia.ca. The hotel is located across the street from a grocery store which made the purchase of snacks and light meals easy and convenient. There are multiple quality restaurants within a two block radius of the Sutton Place. UBC Robson Square is only one block from the hotel. One downside to this hotel is that free wifi is not available. There is a charge (per night) for internet which in this day and age of technology is really unacceptable. Beyond this we were generally very pleased with our stay.

Great location for a night on the town!

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The hotel is elegant, welcoming, and decently priced for such a central Downtown location.
We had an evening downtown planned and found the location to be nice and central. We parked at the hotel and walked everywhere for the rest of the evening. Dinner, our event and drinks after were just minutes away.

Beautiful hotel centrally located

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: The location, facility and quality of staff.
Cons: Treatment of EXPEDIA customers.
Location: Shopping, museums, sightseeing and more
The stay was great except for the front desk's treatment of us (third party purchasers) on arrival. Also, the additional fees for third party purchasers (expedia) were steep for parking and wifi.

Nice lobby

Posted Jan 20, 2015
They didn't tell me about the $40 parking fee until check out, I figured that seemed kinda shady. Had to pay 500$ deposit for mini fridge, got to room and fridge was broken, after an hour they brought up a replacement plugged it in and left. Went to fill ice bucket up and it was still full of water from last visitor. The front door staff were very friendly. Lobby was very nice, bed was very comfortable. When I went to check out they told me they had to check the room before they give me back my deposit, they said it would be 5 minutes, I waited about a half hour for them to check it. Wasn't overly impressed. Oh and who charges for wifi?? I've stayed in some cheap hotels that don't charge

Very nice rooms

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Got there, my fridge was broken (that they made me give them a 500$ deposit to leave open) some lamps didn't work, ice bucket was full of water from last tenants, wasn't told till check out that parking was 40 extra, they wouldnt let me check out till they inspected the room, they told me it would be 5 minutes, it took about a half hour of me going in and seeing if they've bothered to check the room yet. I had two royal suites and I felt like I was renting a room at the super 8. Very clean comfortable rooms but the staff were poor with service (other than the doormen they were great) there is a japadog cart on the corner and the girl is beautiful and kind
