Very nice hotel

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Cons: More special deals so that we can afford to visit more often.
Excellent hotel and everything is great, reaching the front desk to talk to a anyone is very difficult since there is always a line and only one person assisting, it seems it is always understaff. Other than that we will be back. Thank you

Beautiful hotel, but paper-thin walls.

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: The location (on the beach next to two very nice restaurants and within walking distance of stores and coffee shops). It is pet friendly as well.
Cons: The insulation between walls. We needed to use ear plugs to sleep through the baby crying next door.
Location: It's on the beach, two restaurants near by, whale watching tours, plenty of shops within walking distance, fast access to casino and museums.
The hotel was wonderful, and the staff was especially polite and attentive. We left the "do not disturb" sign on the door when we went out for the day, and the staff called our room that evening to do a wellness check and make sure everything was okay or that we didn't need anything (like towels). The staff was extremely helpful, offering to carry all of our luggage as well as any other heavy lifting. The hotel is pet friendly, so they provided a dog bed as well as food and water dishes (which we forgot). The only negative thing I can think of is that the walls are paper-thing. I could hear the people in the room next to us, including their baby which was crying most of the night.. So bring ear plugs!

BEST OF BEST IN AREA

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Good for anyone, especially adults.
Cons: Nothing. Near everything.
Location: Call them, they will explain.
On business, and pleased at the accomodations, personell, food, and all. Top Drawer accomodations, with all considerations present. Local scenery, and things to do needs to be experienced. Remember to fix your phone off roaming if not a citizen or registered Canadian cell. JH

Pros: Great view of the water and Stanley Park
Location: It's very close to Stanley Park and Robsen St.
We were only in the hotel for two nights but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The Vida spa was a highlight.

Nice hotel close to Stanley Park

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: The location, free perks and the staff.
Cons: The layout of the bathroom, parking is expensive, and the weather, it rained a lot. :)
Location: We spent a lot of time walking, sometimes to Stanley park sometimes along the sea wall. Rented a car and went to Granville Island and Capilano bridge.
Went to Vancouver for a wedding. On the positive - The location is great; walking distance to the park, downtown and good restaurants. As well, it is right on the sea wall. There is the option of foregoing having the room cleaned and you get a $5 voucher which we used at Starbucks. Staff were friendly and helpful. The newspaper and Starbucks coffee and tea are free. The fridge is nice as sometimes you don't always feel like eating at a restaurant. Whole Foods is walking distance. On the negative - Parking is expensive $36 a day. The washroom has a couple quirks; the closet is in the bathroom and the shower stall only has a half mirror so the floor can get wet. But overall a good hotel. Restaurants we went to included Cucillo and the Lift, both are good.
