WOW!!!Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Valet . THATs IT
Very unfriendly staff , rude service , weird smells in rooms , smells like its been previously smoked . I really hated my stay with Westin Bayshore down town, Vanvouver, and do not recommend anyone to stay there for overall it was a terrible time.

Friendly staff and clean, beautiful hotel. Great view from the harbour tower.

OverpricedPosted Feb 18, 2014
This hotel is a bit overpriced and could use some renovation. The lobby is fine and it's location on the water is great however the restaurant isn't good, the room (12th floor) was filthy. Chairs were stained, bed was uncomfortable and had no bath! It was a shower w a partial door and water splashed out everywhere. Gross.

Nice view of Bayshore harbour, comfortable roomsPosted Feb 7, 2014
Cons: They should have a safe in the room.
I've stayed here a couple times now. I'm not overwhelmed however it is a comfortable hotel that is close to great restaurants and the downtown core. Good business traveller type hotel. Friendly staff. Quite, clean rooms. Room service is overpriced even for a hotel and just adequate. I haven't tried the hotel restaurant - there are just too many others in Vancouver to not go out.

Cons: concierage service
Location: great location close to Stanley Park
While in Vancouver I always choose the Westin Bayshore for its superb location on the Harbour and close to Stanley Park.

Easy walks to restaurants, shops, waterfront, parkPosted Jan 22, 2014
Pros: See above
Location: Stanley Park for running or walking. Good restaurants, shops and museum within 15 min. walk.
Watch the other charges: $36 night for parking and very small slots, $1.40 for local call ( my US cell did not have international calling) $5 an hour for wifi in room, but free in lobby. Nice work out room, pool and hot tub. Ask for paper receipt as never received per e-mail Free newspapers which was nice Liked the program of $5 voucher at Starbucks if didn't use daily housekeeping

Hotel Close to Stanley Park & Downtown VancouverPosted Jan 12, 2014
Pros: The central location & to saunter along the sea wall. I also got a chance to ride the Stanley Park Christmas Train (childish, I know, but there tis).
Cons: - hallway on the room floor was a bit dingy - instructions of best way to get there from Sky train would have been helpful
Location: - Stanley Park - Downtown Vancouver - Seawall
The stay here was terrific. My girlfriend arrived from the UK and the comfort of the hotel gave her the opportunity to recover from any jet lag. Room service was efficient. On the day we left, caught a bus outside the hotel that took us to the BC Ferry and across to Victoria. Very handy.
