Great Location, Friendly StaffPosted Dec 16, 2014
I recently stayed at the Westin Bayshore for my first visit to Vancouver and I am glad I did. The location was ideal for my purposes - right on the sea wall, a short stroll to Robson Street for some shopping, several restaurants with various dining options within a few blocks, and Stanley Park within walking distance. After dining at Cardero's (great food) we decided to walk to the Bright Nights in Stanley Park (oozed Christmas spirit). And over our entire stay, from check-in to check-out, the staff were professional, welcoming, and extremely friendly.

The hotel had easy access to all attractionsPosted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful and made us feel welcome
Cons: The quality of the robes could have been better and the television was slow to access
Location: The hotel was on the waterfront and close to a wide variety of attractions like the Stanley park and Capalano bridge
We enjoyed the nearby parks, the shopping, the Christmas light displays, the great variety of restaurants and eateries and the easy access to all

Convenient, close to activities and sightsPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Good view Help from concierge Location was good
Cons: Shouldn't charge for Internet Needs more elevators Breakfast was fair potatoes were greasy - expensive breakfast
Location: Stanley park Restaurants Cardero and ciao Bella and teahouse Scenery waterfront Canada place , Robson street
Overall good. Inspite of cool weather, we enjoyed vancouver.checkin was ok though my wife had to wait to go to the room while I self parked. The room was clean. I would have liked the closet outside of the bathroom. Bed was comfortable maybe a little soft . the room had an excellent view--looked overCoal Harbour and we could see Canada place. We did walk to Gastown and Chinatown. We are breakfast at the hotel restaurant - waiters were fast, but the food came after a long wait. Gift shop clerk not very friendly. However the bell captain talked to me about our planned walk about and he was reassuring

As my first trip to Canada, I'm not too impressed. The room was up to par...The restaurant downstairs had a great breakfast, but my fiancée and I went to the bar and grill and had the worst service ever. I'll take it with a grain of salt

Great view and locationPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: The view, service and location.
Location: Close to Stanley Park in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.
Enjoyed our stay at the Westin Bayshore. We had a corner room on the 14th floor of the tower which has a nice harbor view. We were next to the elevators which were a bit noisy but not too bad. Good service, comfy bed, friendly helpful staff and good food. In a beautiful neighborhood close to Stanley Park...a great choice. We will be back!

Waterview roomPosted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: View, bedding, meals, easy walks to places of interest. Meals at Seawall restaurant: tasty and lovely view
Location: 5 minute walk to Stanley Park, and only 25-30 minute walk to either English Bay [along colorful Denman Street] or to downtown shops along seawall.
I always request a waterview room - lovely view of boats, Coal harbour, mountains of North Van and Stanley Park. Bedding is extremely comfortable, important for the jet lagged and conference fatigued!
