Good location, friendly team and facilities.Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Location and pool/gym facilities.
Cons: Option for minibar (hold a creditcard if required particularly if SPG member). Kettle in the room for a simple cup of tea at the end of the night.
Location: Great location for running along the waterfront (running maps provided in the rooms). Great gym. Further promotion of this please to enable planning
Great facilities with early morning coffee available from the Hotel owned Starbucks (wouldn't accept vouchers or discounts as owned by Hotel). Disappointed with lack of in-room fridge and milk for coffee/tea. No kettle so you needed to read instructions and work out how to use the coffee perk (too much effort while on holiday). Fantastic bedding and comfortable sleep.

Hotel was nice, as expected, but not sensational. Room decor a little dated and peculiarly, no lock on the bathroom door for a room sleeping four people? The staff were professional but, again, not overly helpful. No options were given for a late check out at all, which was disappointing considering the price of the hotel room, and the readily available competition nearby. Would probably stay elsewhere next visit.

Not the FairmountPosted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: beds were comfortable
Cons: customer service. Also made coffee in the morning went to put the lid provided it was used, GROSS
Location: shopping on robson, walk the seawall
I booked a deluxe harbor room for my 30th wedding anniversary, very disappointing. My wife and I were put in the older part of the hotel overlooking the side of the boat marina. Went down and spoke to the clerk, moved to another room,( right beside the elevator, noisey) less then 30 mins later, a upcharge appeared on my cell phone. For the last five years we have been going to the Fairmount, outstanding service there, thought I try something different this time, what a mistake( same money) At the Fairmount, a bottle of wine would have been waiting, they have even given a better room on hearing of special events plus they do not have $4.00 bottled water in your room in fact the doorman will give u one when you enter from a morning stroll on the seawall, never saw anyone at the Westin. On a positive note the beds were very comfortable. My advice is to stay at the Fairmount, beautiful lounge, great service. amazing large bathrooms and better views.

Corner room on the harborPosted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Location and Views!
Location: Walking, biking, jogging, views of the harbor
Our experience at the hotel was fabulous. We were put in a corner room facing the harbor and it was huge. The room also featured a small balcony overlooking the harbor and we would go out there first thing in the morning and at night to just absorb the view. The room was very clean and the staff was as nice as they could be. We would definetly stay here again! Location was also great for biking or walking Stanley Park as well as the surrounding Vancouver area.

Weekend getaway.Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Excellent views.
Cons: The Currents Restaurant space is very under-utilized. This large seating area was only used for breakfast and sat vacant the rest of the day.
Location: Very close proximity to Stanley Park which was within walking distance.
We found the hotel staff to be of excellent service. When we first checked in we were slightly disappointed in the room view, as it was not what we had pictured in our minds. However, we approached the staff who not only upgraded us to a higher room with a better view, but it was done at no additional cost to us. All the staff were extremely friendly and courteous.

Excellent facilities with a great location.Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and clean. The ocean views were pleasing. Its proximity to Robson Street was a big plus.
Cons: Include free breakfast and parking.
Location: The proximity to the main Robson Street, Convention Center, and malls were just a short and enjoyable walking distance.
I was pleased with the hotel, its location, and the friendliness of the staff. The proximity to Robson Street with its many restaurants and stores made it ideal. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel Tucked Nicely DowntownPosted Feb 17, 2015
Just stayed at the Westin one night on this visit. Easy check in and out. Nice staff and room. Love the location next to Stanley Park, waterside walkway restraunts and lovely views.
