“Wonderful Hotel & Great Location!”
While I have visited Vancouver on multiple occasions, this was my first stay at the Westin Grand Vancouver, and I was not disappointed! I stayed in a corner suite, and the full-length windows showcased views of the city, harbor and mountains! Even though it was smaller than some suites in which I've stayed, I never felt cramped. The staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient location to everything in the Downtown area, and easy access to multiple bus routes. Only minus, and it's slight, was the slowness of the two elevators.
“Pleasant weekend getaway”
Our room was great! Staff was very accomodating. When we first arrived at our room, it was not the same as the description online. My husband wanted the one we chose because it had a balcony. I called the front desk, they apologized and immediately got us the right room on a way higher floor. Everything in the room was updated except for the TV's. No flat panels in either room. The kitchenette was very nice, though. The pool was not very little kid friendly, but, it's great for doing laps. Good length, no width. Jacuzzi was nice, hot & bubbly. Great location! We were right on Robson Street so everything was convenient. There's even a fancy little grocery store a half block from the hotel. Next time, we'll check out the bar. Looked cozy.
“Great location, great service”
The entrance to the hotel was not impressive, like entering the back door, the room (executive suite) was stylish but not overwhelming. Service was great everyone courteous and helpful. The location is great (provided you don't mind a little walk. Located right on Robson St. and Gastown, Yaletown, China town all within walking distance. Stanley park is a little more of a hike, but pleasant along the waterway. I enjoyed my stay. A little overpriced though.
“Very nice”
The staff was very nice and the room was more than I expected. It was comfy and stocked with dishes, coffee maker, microwave, even a little dishwasher...very cute. Small but set up very well and bed was very comfy.
“Very nice”
The Westin is very convenient to the places and things we wanted to do. It truly helps that there is a market right next door for that late snack, stays open 'til midnight, or the morning light breakfast. The personnel at the hotel were wonderful. They could not do enough for us. The hotel is central to the downtown area, high end shopping, and the West End, economic dining. Everything we could want. We would go back again.
“Excellent Hotel”
Excellent hotel (and I've been to many hotels!!!). From the moment I stepped into the hotel until the minute I left, I felt good about it. First of all, the hotel is pretty new, the rooms are well designed, the customer service is far better than many other hotels that claim to be in the same category. The location is unbeatable. Right on Robson St., close enough to everything but also not right in the middle of all the crowds. The view from the rooms are exceptional. I won't hesitate to visit the hotel again when I'm in Vancouver. The parking is also much cheaper than many other hotels in the area.
“We love Vancouver”
We had a great stay at the Westin, as always. Very comfortable with excellent facilities. Only complaint is the $15 for 24 hours of shabby internet service.
“A Gem in Downtown Vancouver”
By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. For comfort, space, luxury and cleanliness of room...for the excellent room service and the polite, friendly, helpful staff...for its central location on Robson Street..this hotel wins by a mile. Would definately stay here again on a return trip to Vancouver.
“Great Service and Great Location”
My Fiance and I stayed at the Westin Grand because we were running the Vancouver Marathon. It was very conveniently located in downtown Vancouver and the service was amazing. The one disappointment was the uncomfortable bed. Being that we needed a good rest for the run, it was a big downfall for us to not sleep very well.
“Great deal”
Great value. Beautiful Hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Nice pool and gym. I would stay again. Central location for walking.
