Convenient location, great rates

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Accessibility to everything we needed at a good rate.
Cons: There were a couple of loose tiles in the bathroom on the wall and the addition of a small fridge would be helpful.
Location: Close to the Capilano suspension bridge, walking paths, Parkroyal mall, Denny's restaurant and lots of other stores and conveniences.
Great access to shopping, recreation, restaurant both with vehicle or walking. Would have been nice to have had refrigeration unit and/or microwave but was pleased to have ironing capabilities. Very comfortable, a pleasant stay.

Old hotel they try to make look nice

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Sketchy at best! The shower had tons of black mold. You can obviously see that they put a new pillow and foot protector on the bed and tried to pull it off as being a nice hotel.

Convenient location in North Vancouver

Posted Sep 30, 2014
I booked this hotel through Expedia at an amazing deal, and everything went great. As it was for a trip with my mother I tried to book a room with two beds, but they were sold out. So I booked one with one bed and requested a roll-away bed in the special requests box. When I called to confirm everything it turned out they did not have any roll-away beds. Well fortunately another room with two queen beds must have become available and they were able to upgrade us last minute at no extra charge :) The room was just what we needed - with comfy beds, tv, fridge, and decent decor. There was a desk, comfortable chair and good lighting. This was a smaller, basic room at a low price. There are other options for those requiring more. The only bad things I noticed was a stain on the floor and that the shower in the washroom could use some updating. (It just looks old and rundown a bit). The location was perfect for us. We were taking transit and it was the first stop over the Lion's Gate Bridge from Vancouver, and right near Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver which was one of the first stops on the express bus from the Horseshoe Bay Ferry. We also hopped on a bus beside the hotel and quickly went to the Lonsdale Quay where we then caught the seabus over to Vancouver as well. For the sale price, which was less than $100 after taxes, it was better than expected. Considering how expensive hotels are downtown, it was great to have a nice place to sleep that was so close to downtown.

Budget, noisy

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Location to Capilano bridge and Lynn Canyon Room furnished tastefully Internet access free Fridge
Cons: Replace bathroom sink and clean shower better Screen on window to be replaced looked like someone had tried to break in New Television
Location: Easy access to main Trans canada highway to whistler Capilano and Grouse mountain short drive. Lynn Valley and suspension bridge 20 min drive
Budget price you get what you pay for next to the major highway so very noisy. Woken at 0530 in morning with 2 coaches starting up then they couldnt get out and had to wake guests so they could shift their cars. Good location to Lynn Canyon and Capilano bridge Bathroom rundown needing repairs to sink enamel chipped and missing grate and shower had mould in grout. Reception staff helpful and friendly and gave easy directions to attractions

Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location and overall Quality level.
Cons: Parking place could be bigger
Nice place to stay, close to city centre, close to Stanley park. Try to avoid rush hours if your going to city, or returning to hotel. Both bridges are pretty clogged in the peek trafic time.
