Lions Gate Travellodge

Pros: Easy access, price.
Cons: Beds need to be upgraded
Location: Stanley Park just across the bridge towards downtown Vancouver.
Close to good restaurents and easy access too and from the Horseshoe Bay ferry. Rooms are dated but functional. Beds are not comfortable.

Great little hotel!

Close and convenient location to downtown North Van. Friendly and professional service. Older facilities, but clean and well maintained.

Great rooms, great price!

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Super comfortable rooms, quiet at night, close to everything. Needs more parking stalls, but other than that we were happy and will stay again!

Relatively cheap

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Was passing through wanted something cheap and that's what we got. was noisy and got up in morning to shower and no hot water, went to talk to staff and they could barely speak English and didn't care because we were only there for 1 night

Ok price

Posted Mar 31, 2015
I got this deal on Expedia with $56 per night. The place is fine with this price, if you asked to pay more than this don't do it. The shower is not clean and the hair dryer wasn't working too, but the bed is ok.

Basic hotel.

Posted Mar 31, 2015
We only wanted an inexpensive place to stay for the night. That's what we got. Just a basic motel in a handy spot to stay, near Park Royal shopping center (do visit "The Village" next door) and only about 15 minutes from the Horseshoe bay ferry terminal (where we were going the following morning). It's also relatively handy to downtown Vancouver, and certainly Stanley Park - just keep in mind that the bridge (you have to cross to get to Vancouver) is busy in rush hour.

Pros: Value
Cons: Clean heater/air conditioner vents
Location: Nice beach and shops close by
Good for the price, showers are only stand up, no tub. Comfortable beds and decent wifi

Nicht wirklich sauber. Sehr laut, man kann jedes Wort des Nachbarn hören durch die dünnen Wände.

Hotel is conveniently located if you are looking to do touristy things. The staff where very nice and the pho in the parking lot was amazing. The hotel room though. ..needs a face lift. Shower door didn't shut, and the bed was very hard.

Bad Experience.

Posted Mar 3, 2015
They made us check in at 3pm, we arrived there at 10am. When we came back the room smelled disgusting and it was not cleaned at all and worse of all the toilet not flushed. We were so frustrated with the unprofessionalism that we only stayed one of the two nights there. The woman saw how frustrated i was and said that she would refund the other night as a sorry, but of course I'm not expecting that refund anytime soon. We did not expect a luxury hotel because of the price but if they made us wait until three at least save us the bad experience of a dirty room.
