Old school charmPosted Jun 29, 2015
I thought the hotel was charming, clean, and comfortable. It was unusually hot when we were there and they didn't have air conditioning, so if that is important to you you may want to consider staying elsewhere. They did have a fan so we were fine .

Very nice hotel-some street noise and rooms need to have queen size beds. Otherwise I would recommend it.

Clean, great location, & quietPosted Jun 18, 2015
This hotel was very clean & the staff was great to work with! This was an awesome location. The breakfast was available to grab on the way out the door. I was concerned about shared bathrooms, but there were 4 on our floor. One was always available. I will stay here again.

Very comfortable bedsPosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: I like old hotels with stairs and wood floors, this fit the bill. The staff were very accommodating.
Cons: The rooms were a bit warm, but not too terrible with the fan and the windows open. This made the street noise more noticeable.
Location: Close to BC Place and a White Spot with great staff
we had a great time staying here during the Women's World Cup.

I stayed in the so called Luxury room, surely not luxurious but clean, renovated and functional, so room was good. Lack of lift doesn't help but it's clearly stated when booking and staff tried to accommodate my request for a quiet room. What is rather poor is breakfast which offers: coffee, tea, milk, baguettes and croissants ( excellent), sliced bread, apples, one type of cereal, canned fruit, butter, one type of jam. No juice, no yogurt, no honey, no fresh fruit rather than uninviting apples.

Lieber nicht...Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: gute Lage
Nahe an allem.

Enjoyable stayPosted Jun 12, 2015
Hotel is old but mostly updated... Room and bathroom were large. Bathrooms very nice, everything clean and repainted so we had a good feeling walking thru. I'll emphasize clean. Hotel staff (Brian and Michelle) were great. Provided a great amount of info given we were only in town for a little over 24 hours. Told us places not to miss-they were right. Light breakfast and fresh goodies. ONLY negative was the lobby is 1 flight up from the street. I recommend this hotel. It's also conveniently located. l
