“Great Experience”

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. I love a Westin experience and this hotel lived up to my expectations.

Well you know? Check in was great. It is a very new hotel and when we got to our room, the bathroom had water coming out of the ceiling from the sprinkler system. So they moved us quickly to a new, and very nice room. Well we had a nice night there, we even made an outlandish request (not telling what) at 3 am and the very helpful staff was quick to respond, and with a straight face even. In the morning the power went out in the area. We had booked breakfast for 10 am and the power was still out. But the cooks called us and said it would still be there but the bread would not be toasted. It came and it was perfect. They had cooked it all on 1 gas burner they had found. Top top marks for this hotel but especially for the staff. Superb under adversity. Would stay there any time.

“wish I had more time to spend”

Very nice and luxurious. I didn't have much tjme to spend in the room and I wish I could have taken a nice bath in the HUGE tub and spent a bit more time in the very nice, comfortable bed. My only issue was the restaurant...the menu was a bit confusing and she asked if I wanted coffee or juice before I even sat down. I said yes to coffee not realizing I could have had an esspresso. Turns out the coffee was $5!!!! And almost too strong to drink...and I own a coffee hut, I like my coffee strong.

The restaurant food was fabulous, delicious, great use of textures, and presentation was a feast for the eyes. The rooms were clean, new, and quiet. Fire alarm malfunction was responded to well keeping us all informed. Very cordial staff.

“Great hotel for a great price!”

We were heading up to Whistler for most of our vacation, but wanted a place to stay overnight after landing at 2 AM in Vancouver. The Westin was perfect. It was literally 5 minutes from the airport, and had a shuttle to get us back there in the morning to pick up our rental car. The room was spotless and very comfortable - even my husband remarked how clean it was! Nice soaps, linens, a really comfortable bed - overall, a great place to stay, and we were pleasantly surprised considering its low price. I can't really comment on the neighborhood since we spent almost no time there at all, but from what we saw, it isn't the most beautiful section of town.

Almost brand new, modern/contemporary hotel. Very close to YVR. Next to the Fairmont, it is the nicest YVR hotel I Have stayed at.

“Great hotel to stay in Vancouver”

Excellent hotel to stay. near airport but not too far from vancouver so it is a great hotel for business or leisure. The room is impeccable and the installations really nice. I recommend. And the price, unbeatable for the category of the hotel.

“Canada Trip 2010”

The hotel was beautiful, looked brand new, and room was beautifully decorated and clean, clean clean. The bathroom was such a nice size unlike 7 other hotels (not Westins) we had stayed in the past 10 days. Plus the room was a very nice size The hotel is not in the most desirable area, but it is very close to the airport which was important to us because of our early departure the next morning. We were given directions to the train station (several blocks away) and took the speed train into Vancouver. We took a taxi from the train station back to the hotel after our trip into Vancouver as there wasn't an easy way to get from the train station back to the hotel. Had to cross a major highway. But, it was an interesting experience, so we didn't mind the inconvenience. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The hotel shuttle was prompt in getting us to the airport the next morning. Very easy and pleasant stay.
