"A VERY pleasant surprise."
The online hotel price was lower than the others I saw listed in the area. Once booked, I had second thoughts and was afraid that we would be in a dump but what a pleasant surprise. The staff was super helpful. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The internet service was good and so was the breakfast.

"Great place to stay!"
I would definitely stay here again! I'm a bit of clean freak and the room/accommodations were very clean. The staff was friendly and personable. I briefly checked out the gym. Note that although it's located on the 4th floor, the sign on the door notes that it's on the 3rd level. The signage is a little bit confusing. I wanted to use the these facilities; however, I did not have time to do so. It was very nice like a high end gym or spa. No pictures though since it is a private club. It is conveniently located within reasonable walking distance (about 2 blocks) from the Convention Center, a train station, etc. Breakfast is included bagels, croissants, cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries. They even had almond milk available for the lactose intolerant!

"Excellent city centre hotel"
Professional, polite, friendly, helpful staff. Great location, centre of the city, but no noise problems so sleeping no trouble. Comfy, clean and well maintained rooms, great bed. Only ate in the restaurant once for breakfast - staff were very attentive and food was quick and tasty. Very nice hotel would stay there again without a doubt.

"Excellent hotel downtown Vancouver"
We stayed at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia for three nights in a Luxury King room. The room was large and well appointed, with nice furniture and linens. The Nespresso coffee machine and robes and embroidered slippers were nice touches. The room had a very nice bathroom with a soak tub and a walk in showers. No bath salts were provided, but the staff gave us a complimentary bottle on request. Service is probably the strongest selling point for Rosewood. Staff was very attentive. We often consulted the concierge on recommendations for good restaurant in the area and were never disappointed when we followed his/her suggestions. On the first night, the concierge booked us in a lovely, little Japanese restaurant and we were welcomed by the restaurant's host with a drink "courtesy of the concierge at Rosewood." It was a very nice, warm gesture. On another occasion, we were driven in the hotel's Bentley to a restaurant, even though its location was outside the 5 mile radius for this service. Overall, a really nice hotel, well located and with attentive, friendly staff.

Welcoming staff - Losana (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) & Carlos always greeted us with friendly smiles & pleasantries.. hotel was top notch - clean, beautiful, relaxing.. housekeeping in our room was spot on - my favorite time was when they "turned down" our beds - lol seeing the pillow spray & chocolates on my blanket always made me light up.. hotel is close to everything.. we even walked all the way to Stanley Park near Davie St. from the hotel but i would only recommend that to travelers who arent afraid of using their legs for transportation.. Hotel Blu Vancouver is walking distance from Canada Place, the Waterfront, Historic Vancouver (gas clock), Robson Square, Contemporary Art Museum, Chinatown - super convenient location for all the touristy sights! Valet was quick & efficient & kept our rental car safe :) wish is wasn't as pricey but for what we paid and were able to experience because of its proximity to the sights we wanted to see, it was totally worth it and more :-D

"Great place, bogged down by price"
We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but when we were there the staff was very cordial, the room was extremely comfortable, and the fitness facility great. We did not attend the restaurant. My only complaint would be the excessive price per night; however, this excessive price seemed to be on par with other hotels in downtown Vancouver.

"High rise building with beautiful view"
After traveling around Washington State in four different hotels, we decided to go luxurious after our train ride from Seattle. We were reasonably close from the Amtrak train station, there was the public system but we took a 10 minute cab ride. Extremely classy, beautiful hotel on scale with the cruise ships that come in. Robes in the clean room, big bathroom. Cocktails by the scenic harbor were wonderful and at night our room was lit beautifully by the skyline and the mist over the water. We were able to have nice restaurant experiences close by, although it is a tourist area you can find the local fare if you walk left as you leave the hotel. The pool was clean and there was a service for fresh towels in the cabana. Definitely an experience to keep BC in our minds for a long time!
