Very nice room, large enough, bathroom- deep tub.Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Every staff person was very helpfull.
Cons: Not much to improve on.
Location: Did not leave the hotel. Downtown Vancouver is within a few miles and is always fun, stupid expensive, but fun.
Had a great time, secure parking, very friendly front desk and staff. Casino staff were excellent, had a great time at the bar and "Nearly Neal" was entertaining, putting on a very good show. Buffet Breakfast was very good. Facility is in great condition.

Great weekend getaway from SeattlePosted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and location. Quiet rooms when it isn't full. Small swimming pool and gym.
Cons: Time to upgrade the king beds in the casino hotel folks.
Location: Great food in Richmond, walking distance to the Night Market during the summer months.
We've been coming up to stay at the River Rock Casino Resort since it's opening in 2004 and its never failed to deliver a relaxing weekend getaway for us. The water/marina view is nicer than looking southward from either the casino building or the hotel next door which both overlook the transit station. The king sized bed is nice, but we've noticed that the middle has gotten noticeably worn over the years and this past weekend our bed was fair to lousy for sleeping. We lost our money as usual in the casino downstairs as the slots are really tight, but the food was pretty good and the location relative to the greater Richmond area is what we primarily seek out. If you're into great dim sum either Kirin or Fisherman's Terrace at the Aberdeen Mall is where you should be early mornings. The buffet at the casino is okay, just get there either or you could be waiting up to 3 hours like people did on Valentine's Day....for that long a wait, I'd opt to head into Richmond or even into Vancouver to have a great meal. The suite is always spotless and more towels than two people could ever use. The front desk staff are always friendly, quick and helpful with suggestions. The housekeepers are so nice and friendly you should always leave a nice tip. These hotel folks work hard and it shows. Kudos to the management for their great training and attention to detail.

A lovely hotel!Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Clean and quiet!
Location: Sky Train on doorstep and in close proximity to the Airport.
Arrived from New York on an evening flight so was too late to pick-up a rental car for the rest of the journey. Hailed a cab at the airport and went directly to the hotel River Rock for an overnight-er so my daughter and I could get home to Vancouver Island the following day. The hotel was very quiet when we arrived and almost looked deserted but within a few minutes there was someone on hand to help with the luggage and answer our questions. Had a great night's sleep and awoke the next morning feeling refreshed. Stayed for the breakfast buffet. Food was plentiful and quite inexpensive for what was offered. The view from restaurant was lovely. A good experience so would highly recommend the Hotel!

Nice hotel.Posted Feb 3, 2015
Went here with family. Great pool facilities. Only issue was slight odor in rooms. Had to change room for a balcony to allow air flow. Otherwise had a great time.

Great HotelPosted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: The service and the facilities
Cons: The free parking can be connected to the resort or at least an indoor walkway n
Location: Easy to take the skytrain to get anywhere
The hotel was so great I had written to them regarding my companions's 21 birthday. We had a two bedroom suite it was so amazing two full king sized rooms plus a living room and a luxurious bathroom. They had left us chocolate covered strawberries in our fridge and a card to say happy birthday. We got a chance to eat the buffet on new year's day long line up probably waited an hour. At one point in the line they gave smoothies out great for $30 great deal even being a vegetarian I found there were plenty of things to keep me happy with the food as well. Our only regret is that we weren't there for longer and the free parking to the resort is a long walk outside and through the casino but fortunately its not far away I will stay again.
