Upon arrival to Koro Sun after 2 days of traveling we were welcomed with coconut water fresh from the coconut and upgraded to an unbelievable bure suite on the marina, it was so beautiful that my daughter and I almost cried, it's the kind of place you dream about; fresh flowers everywhere, gorgeous lush vegetation, clean clean rooms, AC, giant comfortable beds, hot showers, views for days and all right next to the best diving outfit around. The food was incredible from daily fresh fruits to barbecued chicken and amazing mashed potatoes and exotic salads and made to order breakfasts, the whole experience was just heaven. We splurged on an outing and went on the waterfall hike with Solo through Koro Sun and it was spectacular-- visited a village to obtain permission to use the waterfall then spent a few hours jumping off rocks and swimming around in the most idyllic jungle I could ever imagine. Also met a kindred spirit in host Ally who shares our love of scuba diving and has become a friend. Overall Koro Sun far exceeded our expectations and was a fantastic, beautiful, friendly, clean, safe, stunning place to stay. Thank you Koro Sun we are so grateful!

The views from this hotel is amazing, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Also the owner arranges activities ranging from Snorkelling, River Tubing, Hiking, to stand up paddle boarding.
This island has Tony Robbins Events on a regular basis, and it is recommended that you allow a few days after or before the event to explore this beautiful island, and the activities it has to offer.
After all, I travelled from England, and the journey took nearly 40 hours there and back. Therefore, if you travel this distance, then you must make the time after the event to explore this island, and experience the beautiful tropical jungle, listen to the birds singing, swim the the nice warm sea and see the tropical fish, and finally experience the warm welcome of the Fijian People.
In fact I have to say that the Fijian People are the most welcoming people in the world, and one day I hope to experience this wonderful place again.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was average. One day, the water supply stopped working. The swimming pool had a REALLY nice temperature but the floor of the pool was darkened. Their food was quite good. The toilet in our room was blocked one day however, the staff were really nice and friendly. As the hotel is located next to the sugar mill, it can sufffer from some pretty nasty smells.

Our experience was fair especially with the hotel staff upgrading our party to the Villa with a private pool since it came with air-conditioning. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves since its located in a pristine are of Savusavu. The rooms were not as clean as expected of resorts though. I expected cleaner surroundings. Even the resort restaurant and pool area seating furniture was excessively dusty and looked as though had not been wiped down for a month ( if you think of insects and the mess they can leave behind )
The plumbing of our room was fine except the shower drain seemed clogged. The kitchen counter was littered with lizard feces... Overall if this was all fixed the overall rating would be much higher.
