"Great hotel in an ideal location"
A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff that were willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Room was very comfortable; a lovely big bed, air-conditioning, a second level seating area with mini-bar, and a balcony. Breakfast was included - cereal, toast, cheese and meats, fruit, yoghurt and pastries.

"Fantastic hotel in an ideal location"
Our stay at Hotel Isa was fantastic, staff were brilliant and polite and made us feel very welcome. We found Isa to be in an ideal location - on the quiet side of the river, but not far enough off the beaten track that we couldn't easily find our way into town. Right down the road from a great pizza place and ice cream shop (definitely check out Gelati Gelati, the staff there are amazing as well) finding good quality food for a very fair price was extremely easy. Isa is also ideally situated for shopping on the main street, picking up a few items at the local supermarket, and for late night visits to St Peter's square. Our superior room was marvelous, and while the decor was a little dated, was more than made up for by the space, storage space and balcony. The bed was huge and the bathroom was pretty sizable too. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace gave us stunning views of the Basilica and the rest of Rome as we enjoyed the hearty and delicious food. Only downside, if any, was that there was only one lift and it was very small - barely large enough for two people and two cases, that and the lack of room service, as we found out, you can only order drinks to your room, not full or even small meals, which was a disappointment. To solve this though I'd highly recommend 'San Marco' restaurant just around the corner from Isa, their arancini are to DIE for, and the food is very reasonably priced. Thanks to all the Isa staff for a great stay, I'd definitely visit again.

"Giuseppe goes above and beyond for first timers"
Upon our arrival to Hotel Relais dei Papi the gentleman at the desk was most hospitable. He recognize we hd jet lack and suggested we rest first. after our rest he sat down with us to help us plan our time in Rome. He is an excellent listener. After we talked he drew routes on a map of Rome. He basically used his knowledge of Rome to plan each day of our trip. He marked routes, must see sights and great places to eat. He was right on the mark. He at our request, contact with tourist guide for a trip to Naples and Pompeiea. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend Giuseppe and the Hotel Relais dei Papi.

Pocket Guide: Rome Vatican - Prati Independent Boutique Hotels

The world's smallest country, Vatican City is dominated by St Peter's, Christendom's largest church. Michelangelo's humbling 'Pietà' and his Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos are among the world's greatest works of art. The Aurelio area is named after the ancient Via Aurelia, the main road that connected Rome with Spain, and is convenient for visiting the city's sights.
