Viale Delle Milizie 15, Rome - Map
"Great location just north of the Vatican."
We were greeted by the manager Luigi at the hotel after hours - it was dark by the time we got there and Luigi was outside looking for our taxi. He gave us a tour of the place upon check-in and spent a good 10-15 minutes with us to make sure we had the information we needed. The location of this property is excellent - about a 15 minute walk from the Vatican, and only a block from a Metro station which will take you anywhere. A wonderful bakery right around the corner and plenty of food establishments and services close - an ATM within a couple of blocks. We had a 2nd floor room with full length windows that opened out onto Viale Delle Millizie which is a tree lined boulevard - very peaceful at night - some traffic noise now and then, but no problem sleeping with the windows open for comfort. Not a huge room, but 3 beds and a compact but efficient bathroom with shower. The automatic espresso machine right out our door was a nice touch. Very reasonably priced and again a perfect location if you are there to see the sights, but want a place just a step away from the bustle with transit a short walk away. Loved it.

"Amazing B&B in Rome - highly recommend"
Whenever you visit a new hotel/B&B you are always concerned with whether it will live up to your expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised that Luca and B&B At Your Place - not only met our expectations (based on high reviews from other travelers) but really exceed them in many ways. From the amazing and filling breakfast he provided each morning and the extremely comfortable rooms - to the amazing location and excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our family of four (2 parents and 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

Casa Linnea - Rome Hotels

Casa Linnea

Via Plinio 22, Rome - Map
"A pleasant and comfortable place"
Hotel is located within an easy walk of the Vatican and near a Metro station; the area near the hotel is very safe to walk around, even at night. Bedroom was spacious enough and the ensuite bathroom and toilet were in separate rooms. Air conditioning unit worked well, which was appreciated in the summer heat; the low hum of the air conditioning unit eliminated all external sounds and so we were able to get a good night's sleep. The only drawback was that the shower was not too luxurious (small and water leaked from the showerhead), but this should not be a deterrent to anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably-priced place to stay in Rome. Hotel has a kitchen area and fridge that can be used to keep things purchased from a grocery store (there are a couple of Despar shops within a few blocks of the hotel) in case you do not feel like going out to eat or are just coming back for a quick lunch or daytime break; plenty of coffee, breakfast cereals, and bread on hand for breakfast and snacks. Kitchen area, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet were all very clean and well maintained. We definitely had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Casa Linnea.

"Good B&B!"
We had to leave early for the airport on our last morning and Renata was very kind enough to arrange transportation for us to get to the airport. Since we had to leave before breakfast she also prepared breakfast for us and left it in our room the night before so we could have something to eat or even take with us. Our room was very large and comfortable with clean bathroom and it was very close to a metro station and bus stop, as well as walking distance to the Vatican. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to others.

The world's smallest country, Vatican City is dominated by St Peter's, Christendom's largest church. Michelangelo's humbling 'Pietà' and his Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos are among the world's greatest works of art. The Aurelio area is named after the ancient Via Aurelia, the main road that connected Rome with Spain, and is convenient for visiting the city's sights.
